Fun, different fine dining experience

A casual restaurant with Michelin stars, I have seen it before but not many times, definitely not a two stars. So that's a fun vibe as soon as you come in. The service however does not seem to suffer from this relaxed vibe at all, this is very much up to par. The food is delicious and bizar... read more

Tim Raue has a few restaurants in Berlin and this one is his signature restaurant that has 2 Michelin Stars. The decor is very relaxed as well is the overall restaurant experience. It seems a bit understated given the high profile, but the waiters are very good. The food is Asian fusion cuisine with some twists. We opted for the... More

You can see it from the street but you enter from the courtyard side. Food is great, service is very attentive and helpful. Not all Michelin starred restaurants deserve a visit but that one surely does.

Visited Tim Raue for lunch with my wife, and what an amazing lunch we had! Everything was just perfect, from the service and attentive staff, to the beautiful and extraordinary tasting and innovative food. The prices are also very reasonable and the food is of great value. We will definitely visit again!

This was the second visit to this restaurant within a few months, I think everybody gets a second chance. But again, I was not happy whith what I got. The 8 course menu costs you 198 Euros and the matching wines a hefty 108 Euros on top - per person! They pour you very little (significantly less than 1dl) and... More

Tim Raue has created a restaurant with a classy and calm atmosphere, Thai themed decor and rich Thai based flavors in his menu. Truly delicious and flavorful. Portion were small in comparison to each plates price. Enjoyed a Micheline rated chef's menu but very expensive for Thai food which is usually not.

The ambience is nice but a bit to open space with high cellings and to much lights... Not cosy or elegant . The meals where miniscule but well dressed/presented. The waiters take far to long to explain every course and in one of it the sauce was made within other ingredients COKE, yes Coca-Cola !!! Was the last drop for... More

Staying in Kreuzberg

Neighborhood Profile
Kreuzberg
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighborhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and 60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and 90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighborhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.
