Very surprisingly food

We really enjoyed this restaurant. Asian Haute Cuisine was a big surprise. This is very fresh atmosphere, the waiters were really polite, friendly and professional. I really recommend you to go there. You wont be disappointed.

We dined with 2 on August 2, 2015. Our experience was really fantastic. I took the 8 course menu, my wife the 6 course and it was no problem to adk for changes in the menu. One of the best experiences we have done.

Impeccable food and service, creative and detailed oriented. One of the best meals I've had in a very long time. Good for all palettes and especially for the adventurous.

Although this was the most expensive meal we had during our one week culinary trip to Berlin, it was by far the best. The restaurant lives up to its impeccable reputation as one of Europe's finest in food and service. Our waiter took the time to explain every portion to us and even gave us a sheet with the ingredients... More

We had a wonderful dinner at Tim Raue. The have 4 and 8 course menus, but we chose appetizer and the main course from the a la carte. Before the first we were served a beautiful set of appetizers. We had cantonese style langoustine and, king prawns with kumquat, dim sum rice dough with black truffle, and pikeperch with soy... More

Excellent Michelin starred restaurant in central Berlin. 4,6, or 8 course tasting dinner or ala carte. Young but very knowledgeable sommelier combined with an extensive wine list addd another dimension to dining. Excellent service and atmosphere, but not inexpensive. The PikePerch dish, from my opinion rivals the Black Cod dish at Nobu. A flash fried langosta tail with wasbi is... More

I have been visiting Berlin a lot and decided to come here after it came in at 51 in one of these "top 50" lists (in the world, that is). And it is a truly wonderful restaurant: spacious, not too many tables crammed in; friendly and casual stuff who are neither pushy nor overbearing; and, of course, dishes ranging from... More

This is a gourmet restaurant with Michelin stars and prices to match. The sevice was incredible as was the food. All plates were unique and had a combination of subtle flavors that delighted the palate.

The flavors in our very first dish cascaded in our mouths. The caviar and savory wafer were expertly matched and the sensation matched the tastes. The meal got better from there. The suckling pig was moist and crispy and the mustard enhanced the flavors. The cheese course was the most unique presentation we have ever experienced of Stilton cheese, or... More

This has to rank as one of the great meals we have had anywhere - and that includes those often rated in the top 10. Food - extraordinary - innovative, amazing flavours, satisfying without being overwhelming (which for this standard of restaurant is pretty amazing). Service - impeccable, understated but always attentive. A shame it is so far away -... More

Staying in Kreuzberg

Neighborhood Profile
Kreuzberg
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighborhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and 60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and 90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighborhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.
