Food was good, though we only had the breakfast food so you can't really go wrong with that. The service was really good and attentive though, probably because we were there and on a Thursday noon so it was quite quiet. We highly recommend this place.

We came here for breakfast and were pleasantly surprised by how flavorful and fresh the dishes were. My girlfriend had pancakes and I had scrambled eggs with goats cheese, mushrooms, and sausages. However, the service left a lot to be desired. Although our order was taken quickly, our food ended up arriving before our coffees. By the time our coffees... More

I have eaten at Beakers several times for their lunch menu and have always been impressed. If you're looking for a good beer and a surprisingly tasty sandwich or salad this is the place to go. They play great music inside, there plenty of indoor seating and also a few tables outside and overall it is just a comfortable place... More

This place is wonderful. My husband stumbled upon this place while looking for a place to eat dinner. We both had the commander-witch and it was fantastic. Beakers has a great atmosphere with funky furniture and rock music. Great food, beer and service.

One of the joys of city life is going out for breakfast. Berlin has numerous posibilities and it is hard to choose. It is always a good way of choosing, to go to a place that looks busy. We did and ended up in Beakers. Easy going music, an eclectic interior and choosing ones breakfast by filling in dots. Most... More

Nice place, awesome music and amazing breakfast. You can create your own breakfast based on your taste, choosing from a long list of ingredients, both salty and sweet. And also nice staff ;)

Ok so maybe don't come here if you're in a rush, but if you don't get the time or opportunity to start your day with a breakfast here then it's your loss. Incredibly friendly staff who actually apologised for assuming that we'd understand German (fair enough assumption to make in my opinion, I was just flattered that I didn't look... More

Easter Sunday morning we went in search of breakfast and found this awesome place. It's a rock pub by night but by day the tunes are turned down to provide a softer atmosphere. We ordered blueberry pancakes, scrambled eggs with salmon and home cooked ham and bread. All the portions were a good size and no one left hungry. Everything... More

All of the great reviews don't lie - the food at Beakers is exceptional. Really nice ambiance - that tiny little living room vibe many of Berlin's cafes have, friendly wait staff and comfortable seating. I love that the breakfast came with a delicious salad with pomegranate seeds on top and super tasty dressing. Eggs with goat cheese were perfect.

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighborhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighborhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
