Perfect Brunch in Berlin

Nice place, awesome music and amazing breakfast. You can create your own breakfast based on your taste, choosing from a long list of ingredients, both salty and sweet. And also nice staff ;)

Ok so maybe don't come here if you're in a rush, but if you don't get the time or opportunity to start your day with a breakfast here then it's your loss. Incredibly friendly staff who actually apologised for assuming that we'd understand German (fair enough assumption to make in my opinion, I was just flattered that I didn't look... More

Easter Sunday morning we went in search of breakfast and found this awesome place. It's a rock pub by night but by day the tunes are turned down to provide a softer atmosphere. We ordered blueberry pancakes, scrambled eggs with salmon and home cooked ham and bread. All the portions were a good size and no one left hungry. Everything... More

All of the great reviews don't lie - the food at Beakers is exceptional. Really nice ambiance - that tiny little living room vibe many of Berlin's cafes have, friendly wait staff and comfortable seating. I love that the breakfast came with a delicious salad with pomegranate seeds on top and super tasty dressing. Eggs with goat cheese were perfect.

I took just a coffee in Beakers but honestly, I appreciated the atmosphere. Every member of the staff was friendly and smiling. Great position and good value.

My friends and I went to Beakers a few days ago and we absolutely loved it. Our waiter spoke very good English and the food was incredible. I had the best pancakes there that I've had during my 2 months in Europe. The food was also very reasonably priced. I would most definitely go back there when I return to... More

We stumbled upon this place almost by accident. it had great review and it was easy to see why. Coming from the States, we had been disappointed by the breakfasts we had in most places, Beakers will be my go to place. The Vibe is that of a music dive bar, with lights made from cheap cymbals and mismatched furniture... More

We were lucky to get a table for four at the Beakers on a busy Sunday morning. The place was packed with people but the waitress was very kind and arranged for us to get a seat. The breakfast selection is good and the portions ample. Sadly, you can't order the special sandwiches which sounded very yummy, but on a... More

To be honest, we didn't eat here. Just chilled out and had good beer, with superb service. Although the place looks like a typical rocker-biker bar, they are such sweet guys with good taste in music and a great sense of humour. English spoken here.

We went to Beakers at night, looking for a nice place to have a beer before turning in. The soundtrack is awesome, as is the general setting. Mismatched chairs and couches, posters on the walls. They have a very varied beer menu, good for experimenting. The staff is super friendly, and eager to help. Last but not least, their cheesecake... More

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighborhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighborhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
