Lovely Food and good service!

Was here with a group of friends. Had the scallops as a starter and then the salmon in sesame crust. All was very well done, only minus was that the salmon could use a bit salt, but you can add that to taste. Wine was good and the young waiter was attentfull but not overly so. Gave us some lovely... read more

Tried this place twice, had different dishes both nights, service consistent, food good and not sure why reviews have said expensive, maybe because I live in London I found it very reasonable,

My aunt invited us out for dinner and proposed this place. She was on holidays in Berlin and told me that she went there the last two days as well and that this was the third time in the restaurant. Me and my wife ordered Pizza and my aunt and her partner ordered pasta. We also ordered two starters for... More

Although the interior looks quite nice there it's just no nice atmosphere in this place. The staff are little enthusiastic and you feel bad if ask for anything out of the ordinary. Pasta was dry and plain, the sauce had no flavour. The wine is average. All in all a disappointment.

Was here together with a group. They all had pizza, I chose the pasta with beef and pear. Was ok, but I expected more from this typical Italian restaurant. I heard good stories, but my visit didn't please me though.

just go for the huge italian choice... and take your pasta with yummy sauces because they are experts in that field. If the waiter is a real italian, let him choose your wine. You may trust them, they won't suggest you something which is overpriced.

My partner and I recently visited Berlin for a getaway, and were staying close by on Martin-Luther-Strasse. We love Pizza, and decided this place looked good enough to try. The decor is lovely, and you have the opportunity to eat outside if the weather is good. For starter, we ordered pizza bread to share, not realising it is actually a... More

We had breakfast here. It was good food and a stylish presentation. It's very nice to eat on the terrasse and watch the people walk by. I thought it was slightly pricey but nothing too bad.

Antipasti was incredibly delicious. Wine list varied and even the lower price amazing. When I say lower priced, it's all relative as the wine in Berlin is ridiculously expensive. The pizza was nice but nothing special. We didn't try the desserts but the espresso was great. Service was personable and attentive too, but you will be asked outright if you're... More

My partner and I dined at the Winterfeld this evening at 7pm. Having read good reviews previously. There were only 4 tables taken and a handful of staff to attend to us. The pizza and salmon were lovely but the music was dreadful, the same 2 1/2 minute track on repeat for an hour. At first we saw the funny... More

Staying in Schoneberg

Neighborhood Profile
Schoneberg
In 1963, Schöneberg was the center of the political west, inspiring John F. Kennedy to choose this area to famously announce, "Ich bin ein Berliner." Times may have changed, but modern-day Schöneberg still pays tribute to its historical legacies. Once the richest city outside of Berlin proper, the area's affluent past is still visible in ornate housing facades dating back to the Gründerzeit of the 19th century, while residents in fur coats walking their dogs or shopping in high-end KaDeWe continue the tradition with a modern flair. Schöneberg was also once the center of the decadent and burlesque nightlife of the 1920s. It was here that Marlene Dietrich partied with Christopher Isherwood and the first gay bar in Germany was founded. Today, the gay community still revolves around Nollendorfplatz. The overground Ubahn station is even illuminated in rainbow colors, paying tribute to Schöneberg's progressive past.
