We went to Filetstuck on a Sunday night. We'd been recommended the restaurant by good friends. Sadley, we were the only guests that night. We had to wait almost 30 min for our entrees, carpaccio. It was really good, espacially the poarched small eggs on top. The meat for main course were not warm when it came, and the knifves... More

You will more or less be alone there. Even if we where the only guests the starter (cold) took 45 min to get. The meat was of great quality but served cold!!!! Take everything medium or well done.

This is a small bistro type restaurant specialised in beef. The quality of which is without any doubt good. That having said all the rest is just focused on getting as much as possible money from the pockets of the clients. Prices for side dishes, drinks, dessert, coffee are disproportionate. Finally you end op with an invoice of a Michelin... More

One of th best steakhouses I have ever eaten in. I had the Irish fillet steak (I think 300 gr) and it was succulent, perfectly cooked. Very good well-informed service. The place is well served by the Metro so easy to get to.

We visited here last week after seeing it had good reviews and we were very pleased we did. We had two different steaks, both which were recommended by the waiter and they were both excellent. It was about €140 for two meals, two sides and two drinks but if you appreciate good meat it is well worth the money. I... More

Ambience is outstanding in this stylishly appointed eatery. Service is outstanding, patient excellent recommendations / explanations on the choices on offer. Meat cuts and variety off condiments are great. Everything was prepared exactly to order and the quality of the steak was superb, as was everything else. For a dinner with friends, the expense is quite high. The great experience of... More

As had been said elsewhere this is not the cheapest meal you can have in Berlin but the food, service and atmosphere were all excellent and I would definitely return should I require another "steakfest".

Found this thru TripAdvisor. Knew I wanted a lot of protein in me prior to a competition and found this gem. Like the other reviews state, it is expensive, for Berlin, but not compared to somewhere like London or Paris. Very good food and friendly service, with consummate explanations of the meat available, how it should be cooked and the... More

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighborhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighborhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
