Easy to get to, well located and fairly priced modern Chinese restaurant in heart of Berlin. Friendly staff who speak good English. Interesting dish selection and the house Riesling is terrific. We paid 150e for 5 of us and we're totally satisfied.

After almost 2 weeks in Europe and saturated by European cuisine, we were looking for something spicy and not European. We were quite surprised by this find in Berlin. We ordered 2 dishes marked with 4 peppers - chicken and fish - and our spice cravings were satisfied. The place is very dark and there seems to be construction going... More

We went to the Hot Spot, because one of our friends heard a lot positive about that restaurant. But all we was very disappointed about the terrible atmosphere and the food. Yes, it was spicy, but not tasty! Never again we will visit the Hot Spot, there are some real good Chinese restaurants in Berlin.

We come here often, but last time with friends who lived in Beiging for 3 years. They were totally surprised to find such good Chinese food in Berlin. The 3 of us shared 5 main courses and fried rice. Everyone was great. I had the tea smoked duck (soooo gooood) and we also had hot spicy tofu ( I have... More

The restaurant was as expected, food good no complaints but when I tried to pay the bill on my visa card they said it had been declined and did I have another card. Should learn to say no and get them to swipe the card as they just don't want cards other than EC cards. Rung my card company and... More

My bf and I went to Berlin to visit a good friend. This restaurant was recommended by Dr. Loosen owner while we went wine tasting at his vineyard in the wine country. All 3 of us (2 Chinese and 1 American) loves the food! It's very authentic and they have good wines too. If you want to try Chinese food,... More

I ate here with friends, and I was intrigued from the first moment I saw the menu, because it was entirely different than the typical chinese restaurants found almost anywhere in the West. Most of the dishes I had never even heard about, and all of them seemed very good. The menu also featured som very hot dishes, typically marked... More

We thoroughly enjoyed the very good and authentic Sichuan / Jiangsu Cuisine. Select ingredients are competently prepared and pleasingly served. The food is spicy, but that is the way it is supposed to be and furthermore, it usually is a tantalizing rather than an overpowering spicyness. For the health conscious, the food is glutamate-free. Not common in a chinese restaurant,... More
