Cape Town restaurant is a very nice place, cosy, friendly staff, great servie and very good food. I tried the zebra and was very satisfied, also very surprised by the bacon-banana which was indeed a nice surprise, very tasty. And the brownie was a delight as well. I def wanna go back to try other exotic meats.

We have saved our money to come and try the food of Cape Town. For residents of Berlin, our meal was very expensive (28€ p.p.). The service was very poor, very unfriendly. The food we ordered, the waterfront plate, was so disappointing! The crocodile was like chewinggum and the other 'steaks' were chewy as hell as well.. We asked the... More

Visited with friends and had a very enjoyable meal. The Carpaccio of Wildebeest is excellent as an appetiser. The Zebra strip loin steak was also delicious. Well worth a visit for a taste of Africa.

Although it has nice decor and a cosy atmosphere, as a South African I was generally disapointed. The quality of the beef of the monkey gland steak we ordered was a far cry from what one would get in South Africa. The waiter didn't ask how we wanted it done, for me elementary when serving steak. He didn't speak a... More

We wanted to try something different and close by on our second night in Berlin. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and we had a window seat overlooking the leafy street. The waiter was patient as we had a little difficulty communicating but between us we worked through it. The tomatenbrot was very tasty, as were the dips and breads... More

I was impressed with all the positive reviews here on Tripadvisor, so we decided to give it a try when visiting Berlin.I caught a flu and couldn't drink anything cold, but the waitress easily solved that problem.I was impressed how helpful the staff was and how fast we got our food!I ordered potjie and my husband chose hamburger. The potjie looked very... Starter and main course were fine, (we had the bobotie + lamb stew and somosas+ springbock) but after the main course the table was cleared and we didn't get the manu for deserts. When we asked after a while we were told the kitchen had already closed and no sweets were being served anymore. It may also be worth mentioning... More

The perfect restaurant for a romantic evening, the place is beautiful with all the different pictures of Cape Town, and of course the wooden carvings and ostrich eggs as part of the decoration. Very good music plays softly on the background. The food is really made with love and the portions I must say are very generous, so go hungry... More

Reading the few reviews available, I tried not to get my hopes up. It turned out much better than expected, food- and service wise. We were a group of 9, so things naturally take longer, and there was only one waitress, but I have to say, she was quick with drinks, and this kept us happy. We had starters (bobotie... More

Tucked away in a little back street, the glowing comfort of the interior shines out a tempting culinary salvation. Once inside we were greeted by a warm and welcoming hostess who (in very well practised English) talked us through the menu options. The wine menu was extensive with some fantastic selections from the Stellenbosch region, we opted for the Jordan... More
