Tasty Korean food in a reasonable price!

My favourite lunch spot to enjoy Korean food. Prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly towards non-German customers. Really popular place but always have found a place to sit. Their Mango lassi is a must when having an extra spicy portion!

As an Asian I'm extremely sensitive to Asian food quality and the food from this establishment was very authentic. Big portions with incredible taste along with reasonably cheap prices? Sign me up!

This is the best Korean restaurant in Berlin (and for me the best Koran I ever dine, including restaurants in Korea!). Food is just delicious! Sometimes it can be spicy, so ask waiter for recommendation if you don't like spicy food. Service is great, although the place usually gets very busy around dinner time (7PM).

I tried their gimbab and mandu soup, both were nice. The junior staff who serves me was really nice but the other (more senior I think) staff was pretty rude.

Good basic Korean food, not expensive. Lots of places to sit, still crowded at lunch time. Well worth a visit. Good service, and tasty kimchi!

I eat quite a lot of korean, so I'm pretty familiar with the basic standards. And Yam Yam, of all the korean I've had all over the world, from San Francisco to Beijing, is the *worst* I've ever had. Hands down. It's difficult to explain just how bad it was. It's more or less the equivalent of what Taco Bell... More

Very good place in the heart of Berlin, tasty food and waiters helpful toward non-german speaking tourists. Pay attention when they say SPICY... it's actually VERY SPICY!!

Had a bimbimbap and chicken raymun for dinner. Both were okay. I guess coming from our hometown where Korean food is common and a bit more authentic, it didn't quite hit the spot. However, it was enough to satisfy our craving. Price was average. It is cash only, so just make sure you got cash before you go. Service was... More

Great little restaurant! Very friendly and excellent food. We had Bibimbap and bulgogi and were not disappointed. The staff were great and managed to fit us in on a busy Saturday.

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
