Worth coming back to

Good coffee and chai latte for reasonable prices! Didn't try any food, but the cakes certainly looked delicious and I was a little envious of the brunch I saw some people having. Great location too with enjoyable outdoor seating for the late summer weather we had.

We just took a coffee to go. There was a long line of people but they were working fast. It didn't take long to get our coffee. Try it :)

This is a order at the bar cafe, and as I stood at the bar the 2 staff members looked right through me and chatted, I asked can I order, and they both laughed before taking my order. We had 2 sandwiches, which were nice but our bill was around the same price as what we were paying for a... More

We had breakfast at this lovely little restaurant twice during our vist. Perfect coffees and very tasty scrambled eggs. When the weather is good you definitely take a seat outside and watch the Berlin life.

Had a fresh, easy and tasty breakfast there yesterday so I decided to come back today for lunch. Had the vegetarian salad.. It was great. I also enjoyed the coffee. Great people, and atmosphere and perfect location. You can blend in your breakfast/ lunch when you're in this area... I recommend!

I love the story behind the coffee they are serving. An old Italian roster how is apparently the friend of the owners. Quite crowded, especially during fashion week:-)

Limited food choice. I could not even get a cola light (diet coke) and had to resort to some other cola replacement. The location is nice.

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
