Fabulous Find!

Transit was suggested by our hotel, and it was just down the street. We got there about 7:30 p.m. and it was filled to overflowing. Even so, the lovely hostess assured us she would be able to find us a place in just a few minutes...and she did. Total chaos at that time of evening (it is... read more

A wide choice of lovely South-East Asian delights (in a tapas style), delicious and affordable. You have to get a few dishes to fill yourself up but there are choices to have larger main portions. The place was buzzing, great atmosphere and worth a stop while in Berlin.

We visited this place on a Saturday night- luckily we managed to get a table as the place was mobbed. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the Languedoc red wine was spot on and all the food was very authentic South-East Asian. I'd recommend it to anyone and will be back next time I'm in Berlin!

One of few restaurants that I like in Berlin. Good selection of Asian (mostly Indonesian) foods with original taste. The service was also good. You can't hang out to long there as most of the time some people are waiting to get seats. Highly recommended.

What a find! A sort of dim sum place with the most loved dishes of Asia. Singapore, malay, thai, vietnam all mixed together. Its like an asian tapas, 20 different miniature bowls at 3 euros each. Sideorders of rice or noodles at the same price. I could sit here all day. And never outside of S-pore have I tasted a... More

We came here with our daughter, there's not much for kids but we did manage to find a few things for her. There is a queue out of the door so booking is essential, and it seems really popular with locals which is generally a good sign... We were a little surprised when a few of the dishes were served... I really can't understand all the raving reviews about this place. Good prices, though. The food is ok, nothing special, but desserts and service are terrible.

We really loved this place. Great food and good prices. In a really trendy section in the middle of Berlin. The ambient is modern and comfortable and the waiters are kind. try and you'll love it!

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
