Following all the good review written here on this restaurant, we went there yesterday: by coming in we should have known: Saturday night, 8pm, only 6 guests: 70% of the place was empty. Let's start by the good thing: the staff is very nice and welcoming. But this is the only nice thing to say about Namaskar: the place seems... More

We kind of stumbled over this restaurant when looking for place for dinner with a group of four adults and one 4-year-old. The staff welcomed us very friendly and was helpful and attentive throughout the whole evening. The food was absolutely delicious! I love Indian food and eat it frequently but this was really the best I ever had. It´s... More

The quality of the food was very good and the quantity adequate. Service was really attentive (we got an extra serving of rice, the chef made an appearances at our table). It's not haute cuisine of course, but a nice little restaurant in a residential area with a neighbourhood feel just a few minutes walk away the buzz of Kurfürstendamm.... More

I really liked this place and was very surprised to read about the "service" issue from the previous review. The staff were pleasant, smiling, attentive and the experience would have been great even if the food was not as good as it was. We only came across it randomly and it certainly gets locals and some Indian families as well... More

The food is good. I used to like it and went often, but the waiters have become progressively worse. These waiters kill what could be a good dining experience.

We went to Berlin for 4 days and we tried Indian food once everyday and I have to say this, this place was the winner. This hotel was easy to find from the metro station and its only couple of metro stations away from zoologischer station. Since we were kind of tired from lot of walking we did not go... More

We had a plan to order our starters, drinks and main course indian cuisine from Namaskar, however, our changed right away just as when we had the first bite of of our starter platter. It was minimal quantity, very small 4 pieces of chicken for a price at which 2 people can eat pretty much! A bottle of drinks cost... More

I can highly recommend the Namaskar Restaurant at Pariser Strasse 56/57 in Berlin. Already at the door many stickers indicate prizes from local magazines which recommend the place. The food is absolutely marvelous and the portions are more than sufficient. Everything is fresh and exquisite. It is not an especially posh place, you can go there in jeans and T-Shirt,... More

We have been eating at Namaskar for several years and have taken many visitors and friends there. It always succeeds in impressing us and our dining friends, many of them real 'foodies', with interesting and satisfying Indian flavors. The Jinga Vindaloo and the Tawa Murgh Masala are our favorites, but every dish is prepared fresh and presented with flair. During... More
