A Terrific Quick Bite of Vietnamese!

This is a great spot to grab a bite. The ingredients are fresh, the preparation is very good, but it is a 1-2-3 kind of experience in that you wait on line, sit down, eat, and leave. We did return a second time however because the soups are excellent and it is very reasonably priced. Don't... read more

Small queue upon arrival ( always a good sign) Seated quickly. Real Buzz in the Restaurant. Do go for one of the daily Specials. Staff were busy but friendly. Good Prices. A few minutes walk away from Alexanderplatz. Enjoy!

I came with a friend to the Monsieur Vuong Restaurant after we got recommendation, there was a long line to get in the restaurant but it take a few minutes only to get in. The food is basic and sophisticated at all, the place is not that big and quite crowded, the food came fast and because of the density... More

You have to wait on line to get a table and sit elbow to elbow but its worth it. Loved the tempura-like spring rolls. I took the good advice to order one of their daily specials -- chicken curry with coconut milk and orange. Nice combination.

We were really pleased we found this place it came highly recommended and did not disappoint. The place was lively and fun and the service was attentive and friendly. The menu was concise but this did not count against it as what was on offer was simply beautiful. Highly recommend this place

I really can't recommend Monsieur Vuong enough, the only draw back is that it's always so busy - but that's hardly a surprise when the food is so good If you visit Berlin do yourself a great favour and take in this great little restaurant.

Five of us dined here recently. Three of the group live in Southern California, and we've all been to many good Vietnamese restaurants. Monsieur Vuong lives up to its reputation. the menu is very limited, but this is probably good, as every selection came out piping hot and was devoured. Lively, bright atmosphere, excellent service. Between us, we had many... More

We visited this place because it has such good reviews. Managed to get seats, but it was packed. Looks great inside, friendly and quick service, the food was fine, but somehow it felt a bit overrated and the price must have gone up. It has probably gentrified because of all the attention! We recommend the Vietnamese restaurant Manngo around the... More

Had a late night dinner here with my wife. The menu is very limited, and they have a few specials that they probably change daily. Price is very reasonable. We got some kind of fried rolls for appetizer, which were amazing. Entrees were good, and I really enjoyed the bananas/sticky rice dessert. Atmosphere is pretty energetic.

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
