Great viet food !

Just spent 3 days in Berlin and even though in most reviews this restaurant is highly recommended, I was a bit sceptical, esp. since we had been to Vietnam for some time recently. We came early, before the "big" crowd. The menu is quite brief and for some of the dishes you get the choice between... read more

Sure it's crowded, but that's part of the charm. Expect it to be busy and you'll share tables watching the queue of people waiting for free spaces. Service is efficient and lovely and the food doesn't disappoint. There's a regular taste/theme to the food and it's not got the widest choice we've seen in Vietnamese restaurants but the specials were... More

The food is great: fresh and tasty. The place is very popular and does not do reservations so be prepared to wait on a weekend night and sit at a table with others (which is very Berlin). The wait it worth it, and never very long. Or you can just come for lunch, they open midday to midnight. The main... More

This place is rather popular and you might have to wait for a table. The food is well cooked and tasty but not necessarily the best Vietnamese in town.

With so much choice of food in such a diverse city I would definitely go back here. The food was delicious, so tasty and fresh. Finished the meal off with an amazing Vietnamese espresso.

Restaurant is busy and loaded. Food is exoticly good. Service a louosy. Probably too many people for the stuff. We got our dishes after 25 minutes or more. They served os first coke with a slice of red grapefruit, which was vey good, but did not do the same on returning orders of the beverage. The dishes were OK. It... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
