Excellent

It could be that you have to wait to get seated but it will be worth it. We had a wonderful diner. It can be a bit crowded but if you don't mind that it is a great place to eat.

Dinner during the weekend, no need for reservation (waited 10 minutes). Small menu but all the dishes that we ordered were sooo goood. We tried most of the appetizers, all the deserts, soups, salad and the pork. 7 people - 105 EUR.

I had some of the best Vietnamese food I've ever had, anywhere. Very glad there are good restaurant options in the Mitte neighbourhood that aren't all about the typical Berlin "must-eats" and that I found this place on TA. It seemed like a lot of business lunches or dinners happen here but be warned, it is indeed quite loud. I... More

Monsieur Vuong is still the good restaurant it had been years ago - the quality is still the same, it is not over priced and service is prompt - they are listed in many tourist guides but they don't abuse the reputation. The weak point is the acoustics - you can't hear yourself talking. There is always a line -... More

In the last 5 years I have been not less than 10 times to Monsieur Vuong every time I visit the city. I discovered by chance through Time Out and I thought it would be touristy. I was wrong. Well, half wrong. This restaurant located in a cool street in Mitte has a lot of international visitors, that is for... More

Lovely, fresh, fuss-free dining. Great value and service. Small menu - but one that is done to perfection. Quality non-meat options too. If you love Asian food then you need to visit!

I really like the no fuss attitude and great fresh food this place serves up. Its popular with locals and travellers alike. You can't make reservations but you will be seated relatively quickly at a communal table if you're a small group or just two people.

One of the best vietnamese in berlin, for the price. The products are very fresh, and they don't use cheap spices like in the ordinary vietnamese places. If you like soups and noodles - this is a few levels higher than the regular ones.

Food was excellent - we had the special, spring rolls, soup, and salad. All were very tasty and our kids (5 and 7 yo) ate their entire dishes. Service was good and prompt. Atmosphere was neat - very cool interior.

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
