If you want to try this cult Vietnamese, be aware that there are only a few dishes on offer and that you are expected to leave immdediately after you have eaten. Accepting this, there are no disadvantages: the food is fresh and good, the location is central and stylish, the service professional, the price is very fair - it is... More

For 8-10€ you get a full and amazing meal of flavors that are (to my German senses) truly unique. Yes, there are other places out there that serve cheap (and cheaper) Vietnamese food, but Monsieur Vong never dissappoints and I eat there all the time and that is not only because I live less than 5 minutes walking away from... Visited here in 2012 and again in February this year (2014). Beautiful tasty food with nice spice. Well presented, good drinks and nice atmosphere. I can really understand why there always seems to be a queue outside, don't be put off by it as it is worth it and sometimes you don't have to wait too long to go in.... More

Since I was in Vietnam, I long for Vietnamese food, but only few European restaurants are able to replicate the SE Asian taste. To test a new Vietnamese place, I always order Pho Bo, the most popular street food soup in Vietnam and a good pointer to food quality. The Pho at Monsieur Vuong was fantastic, and all food around... I was blown away by the food, service, and atmosphere of the place! Their simple menu makes it easy to pick something and they have new specials every 3-4 days or so. I ordered a minty drink which was refreshing and one of the specials of the day. No wait when I arrived for lunch around 1-2pm. The food came... More
