This intimate restaurant was across the road from our hotel in the Kurfurstadamm. We ordered Konigsberger Klopse - meat balls in an amazing sauce. The staff are very friendly and helpful. On our visit to Berlin, we tried to sample as much modern German or Berlin cuisine. The atmosphere is the restaurant is relxaed and homely. If you're in the... More

Only had drinks here, but a lovely, clean place with a nice atmosphere. Menu looked full, with some good traditional German dishes.

On the way back to our hotel we wanted a night cup. They had 6 different draft beers, but we always have the pilsner, and preferable the Berliner. It was late and my wife had a little hunger, but I told her that this time of night you would normally not have anything to eat. Anyhow,I asked the waitress if she had anything at all.Kitchen... More

This was my first meal in Berin and we searched Trip Advisor when we arrived in Berlin for an authentic german restaurant. We arrived at 6pm without a reservation to find they were fully booked for the whole night and following night (Friday & Saturday) however the friendly staff offered us the opportjnity to eat at the raised bar from... Went there twice for dinner, since it was near my hotel and the weather was poor. The food was very good, although the service was somewhat gruff. Helps to call ahead, as this place gets crowded.

We thoroughly enjoyed this local restaurant. Good food, helpful servers, and no pretense. You just get a sense that this is a local place where the real Berliners eat.

Our hotel was on Ku'damm so we looked for local restaurants with good reviews close to the hotel. The Krombach was packed when we arrived, and we had to wait a half hour or so at the bar because we didn't have a reservation. It was well worth the wait. Schnitzel and Konigsberg meatballs were excellent and the staff was... More

If in Berlin, don't miss to explore the local specialities. In this traditional guesthouse you find many dishes served by very friendly staff. Enjoy Eisbein or Berliner Currywurst in a genuine athmosphere.
