Great Place for quite dinner

If you want to have a nice candle light dinner or just want to sit on your own and eat by yourself with a book then this is the perfect place for you. 5 minutes walking distance from KaDeWe in a very quiet street. Next door is a wine bar where you can smoke and buy cigars and they have... read more

Saturday evening dinner on an ordinary March day. We found that by accident when looking for an evening meal near our guesthouse. We were almost alone on Saturday night in Berlin!, that is at least a slightly alarming signal. To the meal itself. Everything from the aperitif, appetizers and main course to the dessert were very nice looking but tasting... More

We were there for Valentine night. We had a fix menu, the atmosphere was nice but the food was very ordinary and the bill extremely high for what we ate and in comparison to many other very good restaurants in Puerto Vallarta. We will not go back.

A favorite with true character and beauty in Berlin. Very sophisticated adult ambience and decor. Sometimes livened by entertainment

Had dinner on 25 Dec. A menu on the expensive side (50 Eur p/pers), but excellent food and attentive service. Reccommended.

Unfortunately, it's a pretentious and completely over priced restaurant that can not make French food, instead they serve a heavy and tasteless German version of French food - it's like a bad joke! If it were not for the absurd prices, one could laugh at the misery! We have eaten at about fifty restaurants in Berlin and this was the... More

I was in Berlin with a friend who was celebrating a birthday. He lived in Berlin many years and never tried this place. It was perfect in every aspect; service, wine, main course, dessert, and the lovely sidewalk atmosphere. Do not pass this place up if in Berlin.

I enjoyed my dinner here as the restaurant is a relaxed environment with friendly service. I had the tuna and the chicken Caesar salad. Good location if you're out for the evening or just finishing shopping.

Great surroundings and atmosphere in this small and exclusive restaurant. This is a real gem of a restaurant with great service. I had the beef with a cheese risotto -absolutely great. If I had longer in Berlin I would have gone back and definitely will if and when back in this great city. When you go - enjoy the small... More

We've had good meals over our 5 days in Berlin but this was far beyond any others. A quiet little place, very elegant atmosphere and right in the beighbohood where we were staying. My husbandhad a "to die for" cream of mussel soup. We both had filet mignon which came toppedwith fresh rosemary and thyme. Perfectly done and fork tender.... More

Staying in Schoneberg

Neighborhood Profile
Schoneberg
In 1963, Schöneberg was the center of the political west, inspiring John F. Kennedy to choose this area to famously announce, "Ich bin ein Berliner." Times may have changed, but modern-day Schöneberg still pays tribute to its historical legacies. Once the richest city outside of Berlin proper, the area's affluent past is still visible in ornate housing facades dating back to the Gründerzeit of the 19th century, while residents in fur coats walking their dogs or shopping in high-end KaDeWe continue the tradition with a modern flair. Schöneberg was also once the center of the decadent and burlesque nightlife of the 1920s. It was here that Marlene Dietrich partied with Christopher Isherwood and the first gay bar in Germany was founded. Today, the gay community still revolves around Nollendorfplatz. The overground Ubahn station is even illuminated in rainbow colors, paying tribute to Schöneberg's progressive past.
