We spotted this restaurant in passing the night before, and decided to give it a try. I actually loved it. It was a chilly May 31st so nice blue blankets were draped over seat arms for outdoor diners--much appreciated. The cream of white asparagus soup was a delight; my bowl came garnished with crawfish, which they were able to omit... More

Great seasonal asparagus menu. Nice amuse-bouche with diced asparagus in a fish stock gelatin, enveloped in a subtle and buttery smoked salmon (and accompanied by a bit too salty tiny combination of cucumber-wrapped greens). Next, a tasty and foamy cream of asparagus soup with crayfish --great texture to the asparagus in the cream, not so much flavor in the crayfish.... More

The food was excellent and so were the personnel. We had a lovely terrine with asparagus, vegetables and lightly smoked salmon. Perfect combo! Delecious was the tuna and the Stroganoff as well. A restaurant to return to - with pleasure!

Food was good, not outstanding. However, although reservations were said to be essential, we were alone most of the time we were there (9-12pm), on a Tuesday evening, so perhaps weekends are busier.

We took a chance on this restaurant when we saw their seasonal asparagus menue in the window, and I am glad we did. I had asparagus also the two following nights at other restaurants in the neighbourhood that came recommended, but they came in second and third compared to this first evening's meal at C' des Artistes. The asparagus soup... More

There's a lot to love about this pretty little restaurant, from the tangerine walls hung with original art to the refreshingly low noise level--just what we were craving after a day of touring central Berlin. Toothsome breads and a perfectly executed complimentary amuse (carpaccio made from salmon that had not been farmed) raised our hopes for the dinner to come.... More

This restaurant experience was the highlight of our trip to Berlin - the food being amazing, but the service and proprietor's friendliness also contributed to a fantastic evening. White asparagus with the smoothest butter sauce I have ever tasted was standout, but the intricate desserts ensured we finished on a high. Highly recommended.

My partner and me had a great dinner here. The food was great. The service was exceptional. It was the kind of place that we would return to in a minute. The restaurant gave us a free potato soup which was wonderful. In Berlin this common before the starters but when it is this good its even better. We each... More
