A welcoming restaurant, both the atmosphere and the staff. They serve a good selection of excellent Cajun food in generous portions at reasonable prices. There is a piano (so obviously they have live music), but sadly not on our visit. Tables are widely spaced and relatively discreet. A good venue for dinner with friends.

We went there for a dinner after our late arrival to the hostel. I wasn't expecting it too be something marvelous since it's a cliché restaurants that are in the same building as the hotel/hostel are not really good. But they proved me wrong. Their menu looked great with all the delicious choices of classic southern American cuisine. I had... More

Menu was amazing, the veal strips with potatoes & the Louisiana steak to name just a few. The staff spoke great English & were very helpful. The restaurant itself has a lovely, relaxed atmosphere & they welcome kids of all ages. The staff were extremely honest as both my husband & son left their mobiles behind which they kept aside... We dropped into the Louisiana Kid but were a little disappointed by the drinks range. Service was perfunctory and a little rushed.

I first dinned here after a 36 hour flight from New Zealand, it has been some time since I've used my German on any body, the waitress was relaxed and very helpful, the food came out quickly and was a very generous portion, and tasted wunderbar,it was also good value for money.

We stumbled across this restaurant whilst on the way to some bars. There were a few other couples in there including a woman who was actually from Louisiana who was telling the waiter she was there to see if the food was authentic, she seemed impressed anyway. My husband ordered the jambalaya and I had the chicken and sausage gumbo,... More

We visited this place for a late lunch, we were the only costumers there, great service. But the best this was their vegetarian burger and their BBQ sause. So delicious, most vegetarian burgers are the worst, but this! The only thing that disturbed me was the youth hostel next door, but for that burger no problem!

It was a little expensive, but I was craving a salad after having so many Bratwursts and Pretzels down at Oktoberfest. They're a little pricey, but have LARGE portions.

Nice staff, good food - I kindly recommend it! I went several times to this place - for lunch or dinner, and I always liked it. The menu is very decent and original.
