In December two friends and me visited the restaurant “Zum Patzenhofer” and stood from 6pm to 2 am, played cards, had great meals and drinks. All we are smoker and this restaurant has a smokers lounge – great! As a starter we all had a Gulaschsuppe, and it was a very tasty, self made Gulaschsuppe! Than we had a big... More

In Berlin for the week-end, we dined here twice. The intention had been to dine on the first night at the Gasthaus Kromback [we did], then here and finally at the 'Duke'. We never made the 'Duke'... True, the lady does not speak English and is a little brusque. Nevertheless the gentleman does, well [and other languages] that makes up... More

Delicious traditional German food, cozy atmosphere, and very reasonable prices. We had a group of 4 people including one pesco-vegetarian and one gluten-free person, and everyone was happy. The first waitress we had didn't speak a lot of English and didn't understand "gluten free", so she sent over someone else (her son?). He spoke excellent English and understood the gluten-free... This is a great bar and restaurant serving German cuisine with very friendly staff and welcoming staff. We returned for a second evening, as we had really enjoyed this restaurant with the food on both occasions of excellent quality. Highly recommended.

I give this place a Very Good rating because I was in the mood for the biggest leg of pig I have ever eaten, and I wasn't disappointed. Straight out of the Hausfrau's cookbook, with a couple of large beers, and I was as happy as, well, a pig in muck. I realise that this isn't everyone's idea of a... More

How long should have to wait for a beet? If you don't like waiting don't go here. Not even a smile, hello or gutten-tag

If you are Trying to find an authentic German restaurant this is not it! Schnitzel was dry, white wine not drinkable - far too many euros for a meal for four ! Sour waitress ( welcome to Germany)

Pork schnitzel was ok. Average experience overall. Traditional pub decor but the staff weren't very friendly. They didn't seem to want to serve the customers.
