As others have said this place is more of a place to go and have a bottle of wine and a bite to eat rather than a formal restaurant . That said the service was good and the 25e plate for two to share was enormous . Normally house wine in this sort of place is good , we tried... More

As a food lover, this place was the highlight of my weekend in Berlin! We ordered a mix of dishes to share (tapas style) and had a nice bottle of wine with it, yummy!

This is a cosy little restaurant just a couple of streets back from the upmarket retail malls, so it's a great place to stop if you are feeling a bit footsore. For the life of me I still don't understand the name, although the Weingalerie bit was easy to understand, with a wonderful Vermeer (copy!) just above my wife's head.... More

It is quite a kitsch restaurant with unusual decor. The service is very good and friendly. the food was first class, lots of it, beautifully presented, very tasty and very reasonable in price. I had the goats cheese in filo pastry with beetroot - would have fed two people. For main I had what was a beef stir fry with... More

This adorable gem is located a bit off the beaten path. We made a reservation for dinner, which turned out to be unnecessary because they actually do more of their business later in the evening. The waitress, Nina, was lovely and helpful. We tried the bacon-wrapped prunes (yum!), the goat cheese canapes (double-yum!) and the Swabian noodles (which are meat-filled... More

Stumbled upon this restaurant during the day and were happy we made reservations for the evening. Enjoy!

The food is simply terrific and the restaurant itself is such an interesting place to sit and spend an evening. I'd recommend it to anyone who wanted something a cut above while not spending a fortune.

Four of us arrived without a reservation on a Friday night in February. There was a table of eight left and we were asked if we minded sharing if others arrived - we didn't. The restaurant is small and cosy with simple wooden tables, real candles and informal atmosphere. We ordered the tart flambee (which is like a pizza but... More

A nice quaint place for a glass of wine but not for an evening meal. I ordered the winter salad (a chicken salad) - i had 2 tiny bits of chicken in it. At 12.50 euros it was a total rip off which was essentially a green salad with some mozzarella and balsamic. My boyfriend ordered tarte flambe - was... More

Visited here by chance on a quiet night in December as we couldn't get a reservation at one of the better known restaurants in Berlin, and wow are we glad we did! It's a very small, intimate restaurant, hidden away off Friedrichstrasse, in an unassuming street and can therefore be difficult to find! But it's worth persevering for. Excellent atmosphere... More
