Cosy place to eat

I had penne with chicken in this very cosy restaurant. The service was excellent and the price very reasonable. Definitely worth the try!

A beautiful little italian place with a german touch and very reasonable price. Me and my wife ate a risotto, a gnocchi (with I fell in love with) and a steak. The beef wasn't that awsome (but since I'm brazilian my expectations around beef are always high) but the rest was perfect. Good wine and a very interesting dessert. I... More

This place made my weekend visit in Berlin unforgettable. The taste of the freshly made meals served by fantastic chef and his staff makes you really satisfied and happy. What a great risotto , if you try once you have to repeat it. The place is cosy with a really warm atmosphere. The clients are treated with an individual attention... More

We were there in August 2012. It's a little restaurant in Friedrichshain with a nice ambiance. I ordered the Pizza 4 fromage, and my wife ordered the Berliner Pasta. The Food was ok. The Berliner Sauce for the Pasta had a Little more ingredients than needed, but it was Fine... The pizza was good, but nothing special. The Service was... More

Mostly italian dishes with a german touch. Some burgers and no pizza's. Fair prices not so spectacular food. Go there for the ambiance or if you're in the neighbourhood. Not worth a d-tour.

My girlfriend and I visited this small Bistro in East Berlin near to Samiterstrasse U Bahn station - both had Pizzas which were freshly made by the chef and very tasty indeed. Excellent value and nice atmosphere, all other food getting brought out looked very good also.

Staying in Friedrichshain

Neighborhood Profile
Friedrichshain
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
