Amazing

The Kafta plate at Adonis was the best lebanese dish I've ever had. I could not recommend this place enough for cheap Lebanese food. So delicious.

I was doing some washing before the next leg of my trip and looking for something to eat. I am a vegetarian so it is a little harder sometimes. I found Adonis and went right in. Order and paid at the counter, 9€ for a big plate of Falafel and Haloumi and a 5cl coke. Food was excellent and fast,... More

Best falafel in Berlin so far. The falafel plate is great value at only 6 EURO - extremely tasty, fresh ingredients, large serve. Service is really friendly. A great place to visit for a quick meal.

I'm not sure if my wife and I went to the same restaurant as previous reviewers but our food was awful! We went for dinner ~7PM on a Sunday night - I got the kafta (as a side note, this is as they spell it) kebab plate and my wife got the shawarma plate along with an Ayran each. Cost... More

Just back from a 5 night trip to Berlin, we ate at Adonis 4 of those nights! Really tasty, fresh food, served by lovely friendly people, what more could you ask for! Our favourite was a plate with falafel and lamb kofta, came served with bread, salad, houmous and other lovely bits. They don't always add the chilli sauce, but... More

I wanted to go back and get another one. Amazingly tasty and excellent value. They were running flat out in a busy lunch hour but it was worth the wait.

You'll notice that there are quite a few falafel & doner spots in Berlin :) Especially in Mitte near Rosenthaler Platz. Please take my advice and walk an extra 2 minutes down Torstrasse, past the other terrible in-your-face doner joints and go to Adonis. This place is clean, comfortable, family-run, authentic (i.e. they won't put krauter sauce or cauliflower in... More

Me and my wife had a Schawarma and falafel to bread here. Together with a Bionade 7,5e. Excellent price and quality. Top notch!

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
