Best kebabs in Berlin

Ask for everything, all sauces all salads. I live off These Kebabs!! €3.50 for a meal that will have you full for hours.

We were in Berlin and looked up this place on TripAdvisor. Went there only to find that it was a stand and there was a queue of 30-40 people ahead of us. The nice Canadian student behind us encouraged to persevere. It was her last night in Town and chose to spend it queuing for her doner sandwich. The doner,... More

We came here on a Sunday evening so of course there was a lot of people. My friend is leaving Berlin soon and this was the only available evening. The Kebab is good, so is the Durum. But is it worth a (2h) wait? Definitely not. It's tastes just like all the other good kebab places. But if you want... More

I would probably wait an hour for this pretty inexpensive doner kebab but 2 hours was really excessive. I'm glad the hype was true ... It was pretty darn delicious but not worth a 2 hour wait in line for dinner. You might have better luck going for lunch. They need to find a better way to be more efficient.... More

Remembering my first kebab on my first trip to London in the 80's, I have always wanted to enjoy the taste of a decent kebab, once more. Walked through all of Kreuzberg to get there. When we arrived, 20 something people were aligned in a queue in front of us. Was the food OK? Yes. Was it worth the wait... More

Very good, but not worth waiting for. We needed to que for more than 1 hour. Once we got the kebab is was a very good kebab. If it was not for the que I would have rated it a 5.

Tasty, original, not too much expensive, but not necessarily the best kebab I've had in my life. Is it worth more than hour of waiting in the queue? Not sure...

If you have never had a Doner Kebab, my son says that this is the best place to go. We had to endure an hour wait, but we sent friends out for beer at nearby stores, while we stood in line. And yes, it was by far, a delicious Kebab...worth the wait. Even tho' this was my first. The guys... More

The best dinner kebab I have ever had. There was a line, bit we were fortunate that it was not too long. They also have tables next door for people to sit. The price is quite cheap to. I would go there again.

Staying in Kreuzberg

Neighborhood Profile
Kreuzberg
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighborhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and 60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and 90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighborhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.
