Huge waiting queue, but a good kebap

If you're really hungry, this is not an option. You could even see a waiting queue of over 50 people and the waiting time to go well past half an hour. Besides that, the kebap is really good. Not the best I ever had, but really good. I would recommend durum, the one in wrap bread, not pita. The... read more

Simply one of the best kebabs in the world, worth every second of the waiting line. When you see such a long queue you know it is worth it.

You know that it's good when there is that long of a line! So worth the wait, absolutely delicious and the sauces they use, so good!

We waited for about 30 minutes in line (weekday, about 4 pm) and got chicken döners. Loved it. Simple ingredients, lots of flavor and oh so fresh. If only I could have one right now. This is cheap, great food, fulfilling and totally worth standing in line for. We took our food as takeaway and it did cool on the... More

The queue to Mustafa's is an attraction by itself, but it certainly is worth the wait. We waited for about 45 minutes in the afternoon, but on my previous visit the queue was about 2 hours. If the wait seems long, there's a kiosk close by which sells beverages. Grab a cold one and wait it out :)

I don't eat a lot of kebabs, but the one i had here was an explosion of taste, it was beautiful. Inexpensive as well, they only do vegetarian or chicken options, its simple but its good. You can get the U-Bahn to Mehringdamm station, walk out and there it is, right in front of you, it doesn't look like much... More

This is something no one can describe you by words , you must try. It is great because it has a lot of vegetables, spices and sauces inside of the kebab. We were there in Sunday morning around 11am, and we wait around 10minutes, it was not long que.

Just as we arrived staff was putting new meat on grill-that meant long time to wait-one hour-but it was worth! There is choice of three meals (actually two-depends do you want meat or vegetarian variant). The food is simple, but excellent and tasty-nothing to add or remove. Be sure to take ayran-turkish drink similar to yogurt. This is highly recommendable place... More

Book tickets to berlin and go, now. P.S. Drink beers while you wait from the closest mini market. Best meal ever.

The Döner is just the best one in town. I live here and believe me: you will not regret. Normally a minimum 30min line for the food, but definitely worthes!

Staying in Kreuzberg

Neighborhood Profile
Kreuzberg
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighborhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and 60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and 90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighborhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.
