Great Doner

If you dont mind standing in line for 30 to 40 minutes in the rain for a donor then this place is for you... Excellent doner, but a bit overrated especially with tourists, If you get tired of standing you could always go to curry 36 which is directly next door... Enjoy

I waited over an hour for this sensational kebab and it was everything I wanted it to be! The freshest ingredients and flavor packed combinations. They take great pride in their product and the inside was impeccably clean! I should have ordered 2...or 5.

We learnt about this place online and managed to find the location. It was easily accessible by underground. As expected there was a queue and we had to wait for about half hour. It was worth the wait. The Kebap was excellent and a great meal. Worth the wait. A must taste in Berlin. Be prepared to eat on the... More

A super popular recommendation - I was almost hesitant to try this place because I feared it was too hyped up, but man did they deliver! We tried both the doner kebab and the wrap - and I am happy to report that this place served the best kebab/wrap I have ever tasted! Not sure what makes it so special... More

We had to wait for a while, but it was totally worth it. These kebabs are insanely good. I think it's something to do with the vegetable mix, which had a unique flavour.

I was recommended this place. I landed in Berlin on Wed afternoon and took off on Sat night. Thurs and Fri was my conference where food was provided. Wed dinner, Friday dinner, Saturday lunch and dinner was at this place. That's how awesome they are! I can't praise this place enough! Lovely yummy food. And I'm a vegetarian as well!... More

I discovered Mustafa's in a search on Foursquare for a kebab in the Kreuzberg district. The first surprise was that giant queue on a sidewalk for a food truck. The best decision was not giving up. I waited for almost an hour, but for sure it was the best street meal I had in my 4-day trip in Berlin. I... More

We waited for 1 h 20 min in the line. The kebab was great but I don't think it was worth it. Go if you have extra time, but don't go if you are already hungry.

We've tried few kebabs in Berlin, but this one is the best in our opinion. You have to wait in the line (never less than 45 minutes, in our experience) and there is no place to seat. The bier is sold in the market right in front the Mustafa's truck. To make the time go faster in the line, watch... More

I have been there in the mid of June 2015, Monday, around 6 p.m. I was in the line for about 30 minutes, not too long. The kebab is good! It's fresh and the size is generous. Worth trying.

Staying in Kreuzberg

Neighborhood Profile
Kreuzberg
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighborhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and 60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and 90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighborhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.
