When we arrived in Berlin yesterday I was looking for some traditional food and in small portions. We stopped at Mesa because of the good reviews and the idea of tapas. Two of us shared: the avocado lettuce salad (good some brown leads), the crispy chicken (cool presentation on a hanging stick but I do not eat chicken wings however... More

The food was very good but if you want to talk to each other - forget it. The acoustics is a catastrophe which is really a pity since the restaurant is nicely furnished and the service is very nice. But this homely atmosphere unfortunately does not help if you have to shout the entire evening.

Our hotel in Potsdamer Platz put us right in the heart of many restaurants with tantalizing menus. As we walked among them, on a beautiful summer evening, we chose mesa for its menu and atmosphere. It's a good thing the atmosphere was so pleasant because we were there for what seemed like forever.....it is almost difficult to recall the food... More

Very few staff in evidence and those that were appeared incredibly young. Of five tapas dishes ordered, one was wrong and one didn't turn up at all. So 6/10.

Returned a second time because we enjoyed the first time so much. Very good food , fresh, served very nicely. The mozzarella lettuce salad is superb and enjoyed the filet and lambchops in the main courses . Dessert wasn't that special . Prices are very fair for what you get . All over - very nice restaurant and great value... More

Ordered alot of food here my second night at the Hyatt. It all tasted just ok. The thing i noticed here most was that when you order a bottle of wine you shouldnt be pooring it yourself. Bad serivce.

Dined here twice last week, as we enjoyed it so much the first time. Located in the Grand Hyatt hotel, where we were staying, but anyone can eat there. Reasonable priced, good quality, well cooked and served. We had the pikepearch (well, that's how it was spelt on the menu) and the pan beef dish, served in a skillet.

The Mesa is a restaurant in the same building of the Grand Hyatt where we had a room. The Mesa is a restaurant with normal prices. An entrée cost between € 8 – 15. We actual eat there twice not only for the price but also for the tasteful food. It was a perfect portion for us and with a... More

The tapas menu was perfect for us. We wanted to try the local cuisine but didn't feel like a large serving, which we have found is quite normal for Berlin restaurants. Saying that, we ordered five tapas dishes for two of us and couldn't finish it all. The food was delicious, the atmosphere warm and inviting and our waiter was... More

This is warm, welcoming restaurant where you can eat casual, good German food with very nice beer or wine. Portions were generous and very good value. Service was great. Overall, a winner if you're after a very comfortable meal.
