Great German fare

Enjoyed our dinner here of genuine German produce, good service if a little pricey. Beautifully presented.

Ate here one night as we were staying in the hotel and tired. Food was good enough but small portions and over priced.

The decor was nice and there was a variety of seating options available. The service was good on the whole. Although we did have to try to get the attention of the staff a couple of times, our meal was brought out promptly. The food was high quality and decent portions. We both had the steak, which was cooked well... More

Dinner was great. I had smoked fish then pumpkin soup and prawns, everything was delicious. The recommended wine (by my waiter) was perfect for what I'd ordered. The setting is nice, the service was great, everything was up to par with a lot of restaurants I go to. Easy to book online (I speak no German.... ) and a nice... More

We went there for lunch, after having looked for a convenient place to eat near the Potsdamer place. Small restaurant but nice ambiance with a good quality of service. Small menu card, German style food. Good products, good presentation, adequate quantities. Not expensive and good quality : worth the try !!

A short walk from Potsdamer Platz, this was a bit off the beaten track from all the chain restaurants in the area (despite being next to a cinema) and definitely worth a visit. Lovely German dishes and the price was reasonable and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. A smallish menu, but all done very well - recommended.

I have been several time at Mesa in the past years and my last visit left me slightly disappointed due to the very disorganised service, however the food was still good as I remembered it. They serve German tapas, an unusual and interesting concept. We were a party of five and the restaurant was not particularly busy. We ordered a... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
