Put simply, this was the worst service I have ever experienced. My girlfriend and me went to Berlin on vacation, and since she is a vegetarian we made a reservation at this place. I can honestly say this was the single worst decision we made while in Berlin. Once we managed to find the place it looked promising, that is... More

Finding the restaurant was not as difficult as some reviews suggest but it was quite exciting. We booked via the website and as we don't speak German were unsure whetehr we were expected or not. On arrival we were greeted warmly and had a drink in the avant garde reception area. Then the food - whcih was both interesting and... More

Located in a surprisingly difficult to find place in back of the Westin Grand Hotel. When you come to Behrenstr.55, you go into an alley you normally would never do. Turn right and then go through the alley and under a big lamp hanging from the ceiling. On the right side, you go up to a heavy duty door and... More

This place needs a good map and directions to find. It's at the end of a few alleyways behind the Behrenstrasse. The staff is mixed. Some where lovely. And some where downright grumpy and bossy. But the reason why you'd go here is the food. And that is 100% spot on! Very inventive and creative. My favourite was the pea... More

The start is great. You have to search around and when you least expect is your in! From dark at the entrance and bar to bright white in the restaurant. All prepares you for the culinary delights to follow. I was here with a group of colleague's which we young and meat focused. So I was eager to see how... More

Clean and simple menu. Delicious food and equally delicious decor. Contemporary/hipster. Fun and quirky staff. Not a place to come if you prefer starched white linen table cloths (which they do actually have) paired with chintz and fake gold candelabras. The menus is short and changes regularly I think. But if the Parmesan dumplings are on when you visit, eat... More

We had the best meal so far in Berlin at Cookies cream. Basically a french style cuisine but all vegetarian with complex and refined flavors. What a good publicity for vegetarianism! Being a white truffle lover, I was absolutely enchanted by the Parmesan dumplings with white truffle shavings. It was just perfect. The dishes were beautifully presented, the service was... More

Hard-to-find entrance through industrial building alley ( with an awesome chandelier hanging near the dumpster!) but keep searching and you'll end up in an amazing place. Small menu of artfully designed foods that I would never have thought of but which all tasted phenomenal. And vegetarian! Wonderful eveningi

There is a definite unbalance between the location and entry to it (walk more or less through bird's dirt) and the fame of the restaurant. Interior of the restaurant and its semi dark: outdated. But perhaps the poor location helps to keep the prices at a fair level. The food that is served is excellent, the wine prices a bit... More
