The pizza here was delicious - and huge! The beer was very good too, I had what was the highlight of the trip - Berliner Weisse with woodruff syrup, a green beer! Something I have waited years to sample, and I was not disappointed. Well worth visiting.

Eating a good pizza in old train station was quite an experience. Total Italian atmosphere with gigantic pizzas and salads. Service a bit on the slow side.

We had lunch here with the recommendation of my friend. Pizza is really nice. Taste was rich and was thin. Service was also good. The only negative thing was breasola was not so nice and i think they forgot to put ruccola to my pizza but at the end our experince was good in 12 apostel....please also note that size... More

Big pizzas, all named after one of the 12 apostels. Really great pizza, taste good and the service is good and quick.

Situated under the under the railway arches, the outside of the building still has bullet holes and shrapnel which is quite a moving tribute to the city's past. Inside the restaurant the art on the walls and ceiling are beautiful giving a really warm feeling. I attended in a party of 16 on one table, the pizzas are up there... More

We visited on a Friday night, without reservation around 8.00pm and it was absolutely packed. We were seated quickly and the food was plentiful. Pizza's are big and very tasty if rather salty. Service was friendly but not the fastest. If in Berlin again we would definitely go back, good food, good atmosphere, good price.

Underneath the train tracks near Museum Island, the 12 Apostles offers good service and tasty pizza in a very cool space at quite reasonable prices. If I lived in Berlin, I'd come here all the time.

We had a meal at this restaurant in 2013 when we visited Berlin for the first time and was blown away by the food. Superb quality and quantity with great service. On our most recent visit we went to their sister restaurant at Bleibtreustrasse 49 near Savignyplatz station and the food was just as good. The restaurant is amazing and... More

There is nothing negative that can be said about 12 Apostel in central Berlin - maybe the fact it is not intimate or cosy - it is rather large and loud, so possibly not the best choice for romantic dinners. The place has been famous for its pizza for years and quite deservedly so. It is essentially an Italian restaurant... More

At the far end of a street of many bars and restaurants and just behind Humboldt University, this part of Berlin is great for a lively night out. 12 Apostel is a spacious (actually huge) restaurant with an attractive ceiling and a reputation for decent food and good beer at a very reasonable price. It's a small menu but I... More
