Good food and decor but..

This restaurant served me a delicious pizza and the decor was fantastic. I was happy with the service too which was very fast considering how busy it was. The only problem is the sound from the trains passing is thundering and gets on your nerves after awhile. They don't accept credit cards either... read more

The pizza is awesome! Really huge! For about 4 people. The pasta is also delicious, highly recommend for a hearty meal.

We took a group of 16 of us here during a business conference. The varieties of pizzas are named after Apostles, so hence the name. The pizza is good and the atmosphere was fun and entertaining (they had live music and on the night we were there they played quite a variety including polka).

We stopped in here the first night we were in town off a recommendation from a friend, we were not disappointed! The staff was friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was that of a big family. The ravioli of caramelized pears and chestnuts was savory and filling. This is a must stop in the city, underrated and delicious!

We had a very large group of us (around 50 people) in Berlin for a meeting and we arranged to have dinner here. We had a set menu. The starters were shared sampler platters. For dinner I had the saltimbocca which was tasty but a bit tough. Dessert was another shared platter with tiramisu, panne cotta, ice cream and some... More

It is worth the visit just to see this area and the building that houses the restaurant. That said, the stone oven pizzas were very good. My husband and I each ordered a pizza but could have easily shared one. Service was good. We will definitely go again!

Great place for special deals pre Berlin marathon. Mountains of mixed pasta for the runners so get the deal. It gets busy so book ahead. Service can be slow and no English so beware. Been here several times so good for runners. Pizza also is large and tasty.good atmosphere as under train line in railway arches.

"When in a pizza restaurant always order pizza " This is one of the basic maxims I live my life by but stupidly I ordered the seafood linguine which was quite poor. It tasted of nothing but butter. The pizzas are wood fired (12-16E and very good. Staff were also good and it's convenient for Savignplatz on the S bahn... More

We ended up in the restaurant because it was after 11:30 pm and most of the restaurants were already closed. The only available food was the pizza which was not the best one I had in my life but still acceptable for an Italian. Thanks to them we could eat something otherwise we would ended up in a fast food... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
