Mmmmm pizza!

This very fancy restaurant is definetily a hidden gem in Berlin. The pizzas are great and while the S-bahn trains run over you you can enjoy a good wine and look at the beautiful building. Not so suitable for a romantic diner but highly attractive for groups.

This is a spatious restaurant located just below the railway. Although not pricey, the food was really disappointing and not really authentic. First, the pizzas available in the menu are not the standard pizzas available in Italy. The ingredients have been modified according to the German taste so if you are looking for a true Italian reastaurant you should stay... More

Walking distance from Unter den Linden and Museum Island, this smart pizzeria sits in the arches under the railway. Huge inside and so even though quite busy wasn't too loud and service was prompt. Good value offered at lunchtimes by the two course menu or the any pizza for €7.95 deal. Decent house red.

It was one of the enjoyable dinners we had in Berlin. Ordered pizza salad and drinks and everything was great. Staff are friendly and service is fast. The place is right under the s-bahn, place was packed on a weekday and I loved the decor of the place with all those intricate drawings on the ceiling! Thumbs up!

The food was good and the place is enjoyable, so I would give it 4 stars. Too bad when we were about to pay, it turned out they don't take credit cards, which caused us quite a bit of trouble as we didn't have enough cash. The waitress promptly (obviously something that happens frequently) and with very little grace showed... More

Directly under The s-bahn and very close to the Reichstag and brandenburger tor this pizzeria is much more than your local Italian restaurant. The pizza is great and the service outstanding. Even on à wednesday the place is crowded. A very good place to be.

The pizza here was delicious - and huge! The beer was very good too, I had what was the highlight of the trip - Berliner Weisse with woodruff syrup, a green beer! Something I have waited years to sample, and I was not disappointed. Well worth visiting.

Eating a good pizza in old train station was quite an experience. Total Italian atmosphere with gigantic pizzas and salads. Service a bit on the slow side.

We had lunch here with the recommendation of my friend. Pizza is really nice. Taste was rich and was thin. Service was also good. The only negative thing was breasola was not so nice and i think they forgot to put ruccola to my pizza but at the end our experince was good in 12 apostel....please also note that size... More

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
