We had dinner on the terrace, not the most fancy spot but the staff is friendly, the location close to Potsdammer Platz (just outside the Mall of Berlin) and the food is very good. We had a mixed starter with dim sum, aubergines and pork belly: fresh and very tasteful. Main course was the Peking... read more

This is a nice above Chinese restaurant. The food was good, I ordered crispy duck with rice and veg with chili sauce. However many plates were cooked with pork and this is not suites for Jewish & Muslim religions. The ambience was nice but not Oriental althought there were oriental paintings on the wall! The service was good and fast.... More

Order the full peking crispy duck, its so tasty and they get the skin perfect. You get to see your duck all roasted up before they slice it up for you as well which I enjoyed. Quick service from friendly staff, nice area not too far away from Potzdamer and Check Point Charlie. Really enjoyed the plum dessert wine they... More

The dumplings and mini spring rolls were delicious. The pepper beef and the beef in oyster sauce were very good too.

Good and well prepared food. We had the Sichuan menu and that tasted very good. Service and the surroundings was ok. With the prices they have we would say it is very priceworthy.

We tried to find a Chinese restaurant on Trip Advisor around Sony Center and this one showed up. The quality of food is beyond our expectation. We did not try the roasted duck which the restaurant is known for but all the dishes we tried are really authentic. Even the jelly fish, which is not easy to prepare, is cooked... More

This is your very basic chinese, with old furniture low lighting. The food was not as good as you would expect. Too many fried and the saucy dishes too undefined and overcooked. Needs an upgrade of the premises and much more care in preparing the food. disappointing.

We stayed in Berlin for 4 days with two kids plus my parents and decided to try this restaurant. We were so glad we did! It was absolutely delicious! There was something for everyone - even my picky 6 & 10 year olds! We sat outside which was fine. This is not what I would consider a place you go... More

What more can you ask from a restaurant. The prawns we ate were fresh. This is often a good measure of the freshness of the food in general. The service of the wait staff was excellent too. It is also not very expensive for a seat down restaurant.

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
