Loved the Ceasar salad

Travelled to Berlin for the ITB, Vapiano was a good alternative place to dine after a long day at the tourism fair. Had a mouthwatering ceasar Salad, probably the best I’ve had in years. Also their pasta and pizzas are great! As well the services pretty quick for a busy restaurant like this one.

we like the formule of this restaurant! While neterign you get a creditcard and afterwards you made your choice, you can wait at the desk while they prepare your meal. You pay by leaving the restaurant. Perfect foodquality and friendly staff.

Great place and great people watching. Tables outside and inside, it gets very busy during certain hours. Food was excellent, just the lines get long if you are there in peak hours. I think we visited couple times during our stay, enjoyed it every time. Very reasonably priced as well..

We were new to the concept but eventually caught on. Opted for pizza because of the shorter queue and the fact you don't have to stand and wait for ages while its prepared. Food was delish and the place had a vibrant and cosy atmosphere.

Wandering berlin we decided to visit this restaurant as my sister has been to the London branch previously and loved it. It was very busy but we managed to find a little table. The atmosphere was pleasant but lively. The way it works is you chose either a pasta or pizza dish and go to the kitchen to order. Buzzers... More

My friend had a pizza and ended up finishing hers before I had even been served at the pasta station. Not the relaxing dinner we had expected as you have to stand waiting for other people's food to be cooked before you get your opportunity. I could tell it was fresh and the food itself was nice but after waiting... More

Very good concept and less expensive Pizza and Pasta at Potsdamer Platz. Packed at Lunch - but try the specials and the lovely deserts even for a Kaffee Pause. Everyone gets its own Access card so its uncomplicated when you go there in a Group - pay only what is on your personale card .

We went to a couple of these in Berlin and will certainly take the grandchildren to the London branch. The menu, food and prices were very good. Food freshly cooked to order.

Had a beautiful meal at Vapiano - we went for both lunch and dinner!! The pasta pizza and salads are cooked freshly in front of your eyes and taste delicious! The only drawback is it takes about 20 minutes of waiting in line and then they have to cook your food which is about 5-10 mins. However it is a... More

We had a very welcoming and warm cook who did not mind our weird orders with raw meat, and a lot of chilli and tons of onions. Food was great. There is not enough seating space during dinner rush and as always for Vapiano, You have to be ready to wait for Your food for awhile while standing in a... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
