We were wandering around looking for some German food and stumbled onto this place. Our waitress was excellent and took good care of us for the entire meal. We ate on the outdoor patio. I ordered the Wurzfleisch which was really good.....it was a small portion but that was different from the other guys at the table. One ordered the... More

Some dishes seem to be not that expensive but the quality is low. We ordered some typical German food, but they were very poor or quality. I have eaten better German food in my country than in this restaurant. Drinks are quite expensive: 0,75 L Aqua costs 5,70 euros, I cannot believe it. Coca-cola costs 3,80 euros. Waiter service was... The table service was superb. The beer is brewed on the premises and I highly recommend the Pils, although you can try a sampler tray of all their beers. The food portions are huge. I would advise sharing one portion between two. The quality of the food was excellent. It is close to Alexanderplatz so can easily be reached by... More

We wanted the crispy knuckles but they were not available here. We had the braised ones. Meat was very tender and delicious. Portion is huge so don't over order like we did for 4 persons. We had a salad and a roast pork. When the waiter came with the 3 huge plates, our eyes opened as big in amazement. Diners... More

For being such a big restaurant they do take care of your table pretty well. The home brew beers were very tasty a day the meal portions were substantial and delicious.

Very good portions for the food, schnitzel very good. Excellent handling of a big drunk stag do, were told to behave as they were in a eating area with families around.

Inside they have the machinery to produce their beer, they produce 4 types that make you taste at a cost of € 4 (very convenient). great food and a variety of dishes, good cost with dishes ranging from 8 to 14 € that are served with vegetables and other side dishes. Our hotel recommended we head to Brauhaus Mitte for a traditional German meal. We ended up heading back there for dinner 3 times (and we usually try a new place every time!). Beer = brilliant! food = delicious! service = super-friendly! Herr Thiele in particular recognised us each night and made us feel welcome, but all the staff were great.... More

We recently ate lunch at Brauhaus Mitte while visiting Berlin for a week. We sat outdoors and enjoyed some rare sunshine. The food was good. Traditional. I had a huge baked potato and a small salad, which was just what I needed to refuel from our long walk. The atmosphere was a little touristy. Service was good.

We visited July 2012 and we had a very nice meal! I highly recommend the large knuckle of pork with mashed potatoes, puree of peas & sauerkraut! Very good prices, in a central location, and big portions. It's worth!
