Traditional greek cousin in East Berlin

The most appropriate restaurant to taste greek delicates! Homemade and healthy dishes! There is a great variety of both red and white wine! Pleasant atmosphere and quick service! From April till October there are tables outdoor!

I ordered the Kos Teller with all the usual specialties - souvlaki, gyros, lamb and so on. A greek salad with bread was served. 2 olives instead of 1 would have been better, and I would also have preferred some butter, but nonetheless: a great starter. The greek beer Mythos is a good choice for greek food - especially when... More

The best Greek food that we've eaten outside of Greece! Gyros cooked to perfection along with creamy tzaziki & well seasoned kritharaki made for a wonderful meal. The atmosphere is very cozy & the wait staff were attentive throughout the evening even though the restaurant was full on a Friday night. Was pleasantly surprised to find that they serve a... More

What an amazing find! So good, we ate here 2 nights in a row! The most amazing food, with grilled meats cooked to perfection and packed with flavour. The grilled lamb chops were the best my husband had ever tasted! Really friendly and helpful staff who made you feel like nothing was too much trouble and that they really wanted... More

I'm no expert on Greek food, but I am an expert on good food, and Kos-House has it in spades! From the moment we walked in the door, the wait staff and owner did everything possible to make us comfortable, and that on a busy Saturday night - with no reservations. (They were packed - please make reservations!) But we... More

There's nothing special about Kos-House. The food is adequate, the service is okay, and the atmosphere not particularly interesting. We were somewhat offended when we got our bill. The bill stated in large printing: Tips Not Included. In Germany, tipping is not required and rarely given (except by unsuspecting American tourists). This was the first time we saw this kind... This is a rather large restaurant, nice location along the Karl Marx Allee. As the weather was fine, we had our dinner outside. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. Food was also very tasty (I tried the Gyros with cheese überbacken)..

Staying in Friedrichshain

Neighborhood Profile
Friedrichshain
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
