What a great place

Very relaxed place where you can eat in or out. You choose as many pieces of pizza as you want and then they are cut up and served on a wooden board. There was also lasagne and really good big salads. We had a rocket, parmesan and tomato salad. Delicious food and very cheap - about 38 euros for... read more

I have been to this place once or twice before and came back because the pizza is nice. I recall the staff being in a mood every time I've been and this time - our last time - the first impression was sadly confirmed. We walked in, greeted the staff in Italian, got no reply and actually have not even... More

They renovated the place and its much nicer and bigger than before. The service is also better and stopped screaming so much. The focaccia, the salads and the lasagna are incredible. I always love to come back and eat here!

Nice place to dine outside (just a few tables) but it's also a perfect Take Away. Perfectly cooked, square shaped (so much easier to transport) and lot of options to choose. I personally took away and just put in the high preheated oven for 3 minutes and ... Voila ! The best pizza in Berlin!

Friday night rush hour. Were going to eat there but a bit Italian style crazy. However the food is delicious and well made. Authentico.

The restaurant serves focaccia pizzas basically with a simple concept where you choose your ready prepared toppings and is then cooked right there. You purchase by the slice and it offers good value, and only EUR1.50 per slice. It's therefore fast and cost effective, but also has great outdoor seating for the summer. And the food is really tasty too!

Nice place to eat a couple of slices of pizza. The taste of the pizza there is wonderful, prices and service good. Excellent for meeting up with friends.

Tasty and cheap food (pasta, pizza and wine). The only negative thing was the quite dirty enviroment of the restaurant.

They have a lot of different toppings. We choose 3 foccacias which were all nice. I liked the basil tomato cheese the best. Would go again!

Easily on of the better pizzas I've had, and I totally love the many different alternatives you get at Foccaceria. Not to mention the prices, really cheap for being so good. The wine for €2 a glass was absolutely ok. Go there!

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
