I wanted a typical german breakfast so I found this place. The service was good, the food was really delicious, especially the organic egg dishes. We tried a little bit of everything: cheeses, sweet breads, fruits, eggs. All so good. Only downside is CASH ONLY. Keep in mind before you go!

Had the steak special - well-prepared, quality but not fancy food. Enjoyed the casual comfortable, and mellow environment.

We paid 15 euros for a small piece of boiled ham and potatoes. Just pathetic, expensive place and small portions.

Service was too slow and made mistakes (bill was wrong). Other than that food was good, the flamkuchen (type of pizza) was big and good (although the horseradish got in the way of the other flavours). The maultaschen was divine, seriously!! One disappointment: even being a black forest restaurant, there was no black forest cake!!

We literally arrived in Berlin this afternoon and our hotel recommended this restraunt as somewhere where we could get eat quality German food. Wow. We loved it. Food was quick, fresh and super tasty. Beer was cheap. Waitress was really friendly and had excellent English. Will be hard pressed not o eat here every day for the next three days!

Had a great experience at this place. Nice quiet location, great service, great food. We had flammkucken and Schnitzel and both were excellent.

This was a lovely place to eat, nice atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff. It is easy to find as is right next to the S-Ban stop. The menu is quite small however has a good range. I chose a "small snack" as we went for lunch and it was HUGE! I couldn't finish it! The cost was good, although drinks... More

Was determined to try traditional German food and this little beauty of a restaurant was 500m from the hotel. Everything is cooked from scratch not reheated so be prepared to wait a wee bit longer for courses. The roasted pork and Smoked gammon was superb with sautéed potatoes sauerkraut with red cabbage with raisins and apple. Excellent service and superb... More

I didn't eat here, instead I came for a drink and a break from the oppressive heat. It was around the corner from the hotel that I was staying at. I had a glass of German Riesling sat down on one of the cozy armchairs by the window and watched Mitte life going by. I did have a look at... More

This is a real gem of a pub/restaurant that locals frequent. It features good quality authentic German food in a pleasant pub-like atmosphere. Reservations are recommended.
