This is a delightful little establishment whether you fancy a bite to eat or a drink. The service is always friendly and you get the impression that they really look after you when you're there. The food is a pork lovers paradise and their flammkuchen pizzas are divine and just right as a nibble while you peruse the menu deciding... More

Best meal we had in Germany! The schnitzel is exceptional. The beers and wines great. The service warm and friendly, with a welcoming smile. Excellent value for money. Can't rate this place highly enough. We returned a second night and if we had been staying in Berlin longer would have eaten here every night. Terrific little find.

We passed by this restaurant during the day, were attracted by the menu and so returned in the evening. The atmosphere is very 'Black Forest' animal head trophies on the walls, wooden bar, subtle lighting, comfortable armchairs as well as traditional tables and chairs. The food was good, decent sized portions, well presented with good, efficient service from the staff.... More

This place is a cross between a lively bar frequented by Berlin hipsters and a traditional German restaurant, and none the worse for it! The food is excellent - good value and huge portions. The sauerkraut soup was interesting!

We stumbled across this place on our weekend break to Berlin. The horseradish flamkukkhen was delicious. Try the black forest beer, it was amazing.

We were keen to avoid Currywurst and try some decent German food and this place did not disappoint. A lovely place with quirky decor, friendly staff and great atmosphere and food. We enjoyed our visit so much we returned the following day!

I wanted a typical german breakfast so I found this place. The service was good, the food was really delicious, especially the organic egg dishes. We tried a little bit of everything: cheeses, sweet breads, fruits, eggs. All so good. Only downside is CASH ONLY. Keep in mind before you go!
