Went for dinner. Sat on the outside dining area with views of the river Spree. I orderer knuckle of pig with souerkraut and german potatoes. I also had their famous Teufel beer. The service was good, quality of the food was excellent and real good value, taking into concideration the location. Defenetely a do-over.

Our hotel was just round the corner from here and any time we passed it was always busy so we booked a table. You can only book tables inside but luckily one outside became available so we sat there. A fantastic menu offering lots of German fayre. My husband had the curry worst and I had the meatballs and also... More

A few months later, a law was passed stipulating that the capital (which had been Bonn, in the state of Nordrhein-Westphalen) would be moved to Berlin instead.... More

Nice outdoor tables along the Spree. It was fun to watch the boats go back and forth. Pleasant waitstaff. Paulaner dunkel and weiss beer were good. The food was pretty good. The lentil soup was good. My wife had an Alsatian pizza with shrimp that she liked. I felt an obligation to try the curry wurst, so I did. The... More

I have returned to this restaurant several times since it opened. A Kölsch is always the start . The lunch offer is usually seasonal and delightfully German. While sipping your beer a perusal of the posters and photos depicting the people and events around the reunification should give you food for thought . As well as all this fun a... More

A great place to enjoy a Gaffel kölsch and a currywurst! Outdoors in the summer and indoors with the history on the walls in the winter.

We were there for the finale, we could not found a better place for it, good food, good beer, very good service... a special thanks to the black waitress which make the atmosphere more happy, and finally good Germans. We were a mixed group of Germans and Italians and we did enjoy the place a lot. Thanks guys.
