Nice outdoor tables along the Spree. It was fun to watch the boats go back and forth. Pleasant waitstaff. Paulaner dunkel and weiss beer were good. The food was pretty good. The lentil soup was good. My wife had an Alsatian pizza with shrimp that she liked. I felt an obligation to try the curry wurst, so I did. The... More

I have returned to this restaurant several times since it opened. A Kölsch is always the start . The lunch offer is usually seasonal and delightfully German. While sipping your beer a perusal of the posters and photos depicting the people and events around the reunification should give you food for thought . As well as all this fun a... More

A great place to enjoy a Gaffel kölsch and a currywurst! Outdoors in the summer and indoors with the history on the walls in the winter.

We were there for the finale, we could not found a better place for it, good food, good beer, very good service... a special thanks to the black waitress which make the atmosphere more happy, and finally good Germans. We were a mixed group of Germans and Italians and we did enjoy the place a lot. Thanks guys.

There is something strange with the Germans. They are admirable for their music, literature and poetry, philosophy - and on the other hand, some of them are so vulgar, bad humor, xenophobia and heavy gurgled speech. I have to confess, - even I don`t know why -, the basic level of social friction at the beer cellars, is fascinates me.... More

I have been to this restaurant several times over the past seven years, and I love the slice of the Rhineland on the Spree. I almost always order Flammkuchen- an Alsatian flatbread, washed down with a few glasses of Koelsch. This is a favorite hangout for journalists and Rhineland politicos displaced from Bonn to Berlin when it became Germany's capital.... More

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, good food and beer. It was fully booked but they found a place for us. Not expensive.
