Pizza & Pasta - plentiful and delicious!

Amazingly delicious dishes - great salads, tasty pasta dishes and enormous and wonderful pizzas. We ate there twice and will return again! Great value for money.

It is a great place to eat, as long as you don't want to have a serious conversation. Fun atmosphere, very young staff.

Lovely authentic Italian restaurant. The menu was lovely and varied, which made it difficult to decide what to go for, but we were more than happy with the food we ended up eating. We tried to get a table on the saturday, but no such luck and therefore we only had a quick bite to eat here before our train... More

Ribaltone is just a great place, unpretentious waiters, a really funny menu (though you should always ask for the daily specials as they are usually the best - calamarettini, swordfish roulades, lobster pasta and and and...). Really fair prices for the quality and service they offer - we are regular guests, bring always international visitors to that place and so... More

Don't get influenced by the outside. We walked by while nobody sat outside and thought this wasn't a good restaurant. The outside is a bit dark. But 5 minutes later, tripadvisor told us this is a good restaurant. We gave it a try and agree! A big menu and also too many dailyfresh choices to mention :-) We ate great... More

It's hard to say what was most special about this happening spot--the decadent stuffed pasta of the day (nuts and several rich cheeses) or the setting, a sidewalk table looking out on a pretty park with a fountain and a chorus of twittering birds. The only things we tried here were salads, both burstingly fresh, but I liked the look... More

Authentic Italian food, friendly waiting staff, it was a little cramped but it was valentines day. I highly recommend the Truffle pasta - best I've ever eaten! Amazing bottle of red and lemon chello to finish. Wonderful!

When you enter this restaurant it seems very small and cluttered. There are little old things, pictures, posters, etc everywhere. They add however to the charme and originality of this place. The service is professional and the waiters are very friendly. The food is great. I would generally recommend to order starter and main course from the daily offers which... More

Very nice Italian restaurant. Delicious food , nice atmosphere and good service. I went there alone and had a great time enjoying food, being treated well and being in this great Italian-inspired place. I can recommend the veal carpaccio as a starter. The pannacotta for dessert is maybe the best pannacotta I ever had! Go there!

Slightly tucked away but persevere to find it. If you're a Berlusconi fan you'll be offended. Great decor from motorbikes through vespas to pushbikes hanging on walls, super antipasti, pasta to die for and that super 60's favourite Vitello Tonnato! Remember that - slivers of roast veal smothered in tuna mayonnaise? Super carpaccio of bass and tuna, bresaola with roasted... More

Neighborhood Profile
Schoneberg
In 1963, Schöneberg was the center of the political west, inspiring John F. Kennedy to choose this area to famously announce, "Ich bin ein Berliner." Times may have changed, but modern-day Schöneberg still pays tribute to its historical legacies. Once the richest city outside of Berlin proper, the area's affluent past is still visible in ornate housing facades dating back to the Gründerzeit of the 19th century, while residents in fur coats walking their dogs or shopping in high-end KaDeWe continue the tradition with a modern flair. Schöneberg was also once the center of the decadent and burlesque nightlife of the 1920s. It was here that Marlene Dietrich partied with Christopher Isherwood and the first gay bar in Germany was founded. Today, the gay community still revolves around Nollendorfplatz. The overground Ubahn station is even illuminated in rainbow colors, paying tribute to Schöneberg's progressive past.
