Notably good food in a friendly modern environment

We were in Berlin during May - which means every restaurant has asparagus dishes. In fact the Wiener Schnitzel with asparagus here was about the best food I had out in Berlin... More

If you’re looking for an easy-going restaurant, decent food and good looking waiters then have a look at More. And if alone you will easily find a way to start a conversation with you neighbour. The service is fast and handsome and the food… well, not really gastronomic. You don’t go to More to find extravagant gastro exuberance but rather... More

Reasonably priced, good food and excellent drinks! Very affordable lunch menu. I’ve been told that the schnitzel is a must!

We used to like going here for the atmosphere and the food, but this Easter, we found that we like on a conveyor belt! In, out. The food was tasteless, which was a big disappointment for the price we paid. Atmosphere was so-so. Sadly we won't be going back!

Back go to one of my favourite restaurants in Berlin. Here the service is always very professional, slick, and friendly against a very chilled backdrop of a cool restaurant interior and just the right level of ambient music. Tonight I was dining solo and took a place at the bar which is at seat height rather than bar stool height.... More

Saw a review on Tripadvisor and thought we'd check it out. Ordered the Beef fillet served with white pepper sauce, gratinated potatoes and side salad. I had the 200 gram steak cooked medium. It was done to perfection. It was slicing through butter. I wish every steak I had was as good. I ordered a Hendricks and Tonic and it... More

Great food, delicious wines and a very friendly and professional staff. I like the decoration inside, but even more I like to sit outside and enjoy the "Kiez" atmosphere.

We were recommended to eat here, and so we did! This cosy red-colored small restaurant with a great atmosphere is certainly a place you should visit while in Berlin. Professional and friendly staff serving a good dinner made a good start of the evening. Their homemade sorbet is worth trying as an end of a great meal.

Back after a few years, nothing to fault. Quality beef carpaccio shared, pasta with wild boar sausage, Wiener Schnitzel cooked perfectly, Kaiserschmarrn shared to finish. Pleasant and attentive service.

I was in Berlin for 4 full days, and think I ate here at least every day! Loved the cool, modern lounge atmosphere with very comfortable chairs, and a great menu serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Always a buzzy atmosphere, and the staff were fantastic - and very chatty. They certainly made my visit in Berlin more enjoyable. Looking forward... More

Staying in Schoneberg

Neighborhood Profile
Schoneberg
In 1963, Schöneberg was the center of the political west, inspiring John F. Kennedy to choose this area to famously announce, "Ich bin ein Berliner." Times may have changed, but modern-day Schöneberg still pays tribute to its historical legacies. Once the richest city outside of Berlin proper, the area's affluent past is still visible in ornate housing facades dating back to the Gründerzeit of the 19th century, while residents in fur coats walking their dogs or shopping in high-end KaDeWe continue the tradition with a modern flair. Schöneberg was also once the center of the decadent and burlesque nightlife of the 1920s. It was here that Marlene Dietrich partied with Christopher Isherwood and the first gay bar in Germany was founded. Today, the gay community still revolves around Nollendorfplatz. The overground Ubahn station is even illuminated in rainbow colors, paying tribute to Schöneberg's progressive past.
