We went back a second time, it was so good the first time. Buying wine here in the bottle is cheaper than anywhere else.

Restaurant attached one of the largest wine houses of the region. It looks expensive from the outside and when you look in, but venture on and check out the menu. Very reasonable for the quality of food and wine served by the friendly staff

Weinstuben has a very nice decoration/atmosphere, you feel yourself in a medieval tavern. The service is very professional and fast. They are famous with the white wine, and that's what I had as an apéritif; it was really good quality. As the main course, I had roasted pork with gravy sauce that comes with famous Bavarian potato dumplings, side salad,... More

JuliusSpital was at the origin a hospital deriving it's income from the production and sale of wines. I presume the charity received vineyards from wealthy people as a gift or heritage. Nowadays hospital funding is totally different but both hospital and winemaking are functioning. The Weinstube or "wine restaurant" is part of the general hospital building and offers seating in... We went there for dinner: we had soup, salad, and pickle salmon as starters then wild boar and roasted perk for the main dishes. The fish was not fresh. The wild boar tasted more like meat from a can. The pickle salmon and salad were very good. Excellent local white wine. I'd go there for drinks but not for foods.... More

I had a dinner at Juliuspital on May 16th. The steak we ordered was undercooked (when we asked the waiter to return the dish to kitchen, the chef just burnt my steak on one side and left the other the way it was, so the meat stayed undercooked in the center), the green beans had no taste and the potatoes... It's not every day that you find a superb restaurant attached to a major hospital that even has its own vineyard, but this is well worth a visit on several counts. First admire the hospital buildings, its courtyard and the gardens which are accessible to both patients and public, then head round the corner to the Weinstuben. But do make... More

We ate here while staying across the street at the Wurzburg Hotel. This restaurant is convenient to the City Center and Train Station. When you arrive, you need to go to the Bartender to be seated. We had a delicious meal of wine soup and a cold plate of meats, sausages and local cheeses. The schnitzel was also were good.... More

We ate, drank and danced the night away here at Juliusspital during an evening of corporate entertainment with a local company. The event was held in the main hall which comfortably sat over 120 people. We drank the Juliusspital Silvanner, which is light, fruity and is slightly fizzy without bubbles. We ate a selection of salads and anti pasti to... More

In an old hospital, with exquisite winery and good people as customers! No beer available, but a wide range of their own wine. Try the marvellous Silvaner wine! Food, atmosphere, service, prices, everything excellent!
