While Zur Holl is by no means a fine dining spot, for my family it was perfect. It's a cozy, historic spot with excellent food and friendly servers. We ate in the "cellar" which dates to around the year 1000!

A great place in a quintessential German town. At first glance the menu is a bit small and limited but then we heard the specials and we were blown away. Wild boar, goose breast, and other options were offered and they were all great!

Just a block and down a hill from the wonderful town Center of the walled-in city of Rothenburg ob der Taiuber is a very small, very cozy and absolutely delightful restaurant which features spareribs served on a plank. There are other offerings also but it seems that almost everyone has the spareribs or perhaps goose or venison which are also... More

Being the #1 restaurant in Rothenburg ob der Tauber, it was not surprising that I can't get a table without reservation. The waiter did allow me to make a reservation at 2pm though, and I made it for a late lunch. It was Sunday today, but it was open. Not sure if this is because of the Christmas season. The... More

One of the oldest buildings, amazing atmosphere, very friendly staff. Great place to have a late drink because they have a big choice of wines. Have not tried the food, only cheese plate, which was nice. No coctails. Will definitely come again!

Limited menu, extensive wine menu. Stopped here for a wine before the nightwatch man tour. The menu was in German. When we asked the waiter for a suggestion, he was agitated. Wine was good

It's hard to find a table if you just walk in.You better make reservation before you go. And it's closed on Sunday. Food is fine. Service is okay. But it's on the pricy side.

we tried to get into this restaurant a few nights before finally managing to get their early and reserve a table. It was worth the wait, the inside tables are cozy and romantic. Dishes wonderful, staff great.

Not a large menu, but excellent food, great wines and very friendly. Cosy and friendly atmosphere. It's best to come rather early for diner ir make reservations, cause it's filled up quickly. Nice, warm place to relax after visiting Rothenburg.
