Lovely breakfast buffet in elegant settings

Enjoyable meal typical of a good four star hotel with imaginative chef.More expensive that elsewhere in Rothenburg, but value for money

We had a very short amount of time to get something to eat and make it to the Night Watchman tour. We both just ordered a soup. Told the server we were in a hurry to make the tour and she was so nice and accommodating. Brought us fresh bread and a cold banana soup/dish while we were waiting on... More

Had dinner here on Sunday night. The place was relatively busy, mostly with couples. We were shown to our table and were served a bread basket and butter straight away. Shame they forgot to offer us water and an aperitif. The menu ( they had a version in English) was not very extensive. A few specials, 99% with asparagus and... More

We booked here because we knew it would be busy in Rothenburg ob der Tauber during the Christmas market period. And we were not disappointed. We have both developed a taste for sauerkraut since we dined here. Besides that, the meals were great - tasty and filling (recommend duck). Carol singers came to entertain guests and they were a delightful... More

We stumbled into the Restaurant Eisenhut, located in the Eisenhut Hotel, during a snow storm looking for a good libation and some hot food. We actually stumbled into Pietra, the most wonderful of hostesses we could imaginel She was our bar tender as well as waitress and she... More

Good food, reasonably priced, friendly staff and very nice atmosphere. As we were dining someone brought in their 2 dogs. They were both very well behaved & we thoroughly enjoyed that. Unfortunately that is something one doesn't see when dining in the US.

Our daughter loved the ravioli, however my husband and I felt the food was a little rich for our tastes. We prefer more Bavarian style. We thought was a bit pricey for what it was.

My wife and I went here for a quiet dinner and were not disappointed. The service stood out, absolutely flawless. Quick without being obnoxious and the wait staff was very knowledgeable, with flawless English which was a plus for us obviously. Very nice selection on the menu with a lot of regional and seasonal specialities. Price was as expected for... More
