From the outside you would not know that inside was a wonderful restaurant with excellent food. We selected the set menu which was reasonably priced. The set menu was not displayed on the menu outside the restaurant but included in the menu as handed to us and did not disappoint. The service was very friendly, attentive and without fault. We... We were really surprised at the quality of the food and service. For what we paid it was exceptional value for money. We had a 3 course meal for 25 euro per person, which, considering the quality of the food was amazing value. Soup was delicious - amongst the best I've tasted, Lamb was perfectly cooked. Service was very professional... More

It does not look like anything special, but this restaurant is really good - and in my opinion the service is fine. I would call the foor international gourmet - no special national cuisine, just good food nicely presented. It is also not cheap - unless you go for the set menu; the set menu is really good value. We loved it! Spent a wonderful weekend. Love their rooms with the decor. Had dinner twice at the restaurant. Food is delicious and the staff really spoilt us. Can't wait to come back. Not too long :)

Good food, nicely presented, ok priced (maybe a little expensive), authentic decor, great wine, all of which was let down by untrained waiting staff. Shame. We waited what seemed like hours for our food and very little attention was paid to us. Think we'll try one of the other nice looking restaurants in town next time.

the place is beatiful, it is located in historic building, the most remarkable thing in this restaurant is the wooden painted ceiling. It might be very good place for a special occasion. However, it is little bit expensive. The food was OK, but I think they could do better.

Lovely restaurant directly across from the main church in village, on a pedestrian zone. The waitresses spoke good English, but were happy to stick with our limited German. My wife and I had Schweinehaxen with Semmelnknoedeln and Rotkraut. Both delicious!

Food and wine were excellent recommendations. Great location and unique restaurant decor. Great place to dine or to have a drink with friends/family.

Average food, and average service. The dessert was amazing, but expensive. Beer is good as always in Bavaria!

We enjoyed a tremendous 3 course meal their prix fixe menu for only 19 euros each. Everything was exceptional; the service, cream of asparagus soup, roasted veal and berries with ice cream. The restaurant was quite full, mostly with non guests.
