Got kicked out because others were waiting... Waiter was rather rude. There are better restaurants! Try El Teatro. The food is awesome.

Friendly restaurant with attentive service in the Altstadt. Lots of Bavarian specialities - I had a half Schweinshaxe with Knödeln and Krautsalat and a couple of beers, and it was all excellent. They looked very busy - I was eating early before a long performance at the Theater and by the time I was leaving at 5 they would have... More

Good basic German food at a reasonable price. I had the hax with bratkartoffeln and it was fine. My wife had an Allgau schnitzel and spaetzle covered in cheese that was great, if extremely rich. FYI - You'll likely need a reservation.

We enjoyed two dinners at this restaurant with excellent quality food and very helpful and attentive service. The place was busy all through our dinners and I understand why. When in Augsburg, enjoy a wonderful dinner and beer at this restaurant.

One of my objectives whilst motorcycling through France, Germany, Austria and Italy was to savour a "pork knuckle" dish. Routing through Augsburg, I came across Bayerisches Haus am Dom based on other reviews and I was not in the least disappointed. The restaurant was cosy, friendly and warm. The staff spoke very good English (yes I know, shame on me... More

So far so good... Food wise, I have definitely eaten better for money... the beer sauce was surely not a good dark beer sauce the pork knuckle... More

We really liked this restaurant. It's centrally located and there are a lot places to sit (they even have an outdoor terrace). Food was tasty, we took Bavarian dish for 2 with different meat and sausages and other typical meal. We thought that pork was a bit tough, but other meat was ok.

Friendly and efficient servce, tasty and good value food in typically generous Bavarian portions. Ate there twice and very satisfied both times; the food was freshly cooked and very enjoyable for both meat eaters and vegetarians. Outdoor seating very welcome in this year's hot weather.
