Little gem

We had seen reviews of this place and wanted to try it. Make sure you understand where it is as it's almost in a residential area. Well worth the walk from our hotel. It has a large patio area and the inside looked lovely too although we didn't go indoors. The staff speak English and they... read more

Nice food and good service all dishes was good taste however the fajita was not original Mexican. I went with my wife, my 3.5 years old son and my nine years old.

Well we were told by our colleagues that we were going to the Slaughter house for supper and we were a little skeptical. We entered the building saw the name, some of the history, menu and were pleasently surprised. This restaurant is a little out of the way in a more industrial area, but it is well worth it. We... I was surprised and impressed by the modern refurbishment at this restaurant and the food didn't disappoint either. Good burgers, ribs and steaks can be hard to come by but at this restaurant you are given what the menu promises. Both the burger and ribs came with fries and coleslaw. The coleslaw wasn't amazing but the fries were good and... More

Not centrally located (i.e. not within walking distance from the center), this place - a nicely and modern refurbished former slaughterhouse - is worth a visit. In the summertime you can enjoy the nice outside patio. Happy hour runs from 5:00 pm through 8:00 pm, the drinks are good but not outstanding. The restaurant/bar mainly serves burgers, steaks fajita and... More

This relatively new restaurant is housed in an old slaughterhouse. Sounds gruesome but the decor is lovely with brick walls, sturdy wooden tables and nice mood lighting. The big attraction of course is the meat and I've had several good burgers and salads here. The chocolate chili mousse is also a highlight. In the summer you can sit outside in... More
