We came to L'Osteria in a cold and rainy day. The place was full with people. We were politely asked to wait at the bar for 5 min, and exactly after 5 min we were taken to our table. Tables are close to each other, but it's not even a problem. The dishes are VERY big. We ordered soup Minestrone... More

This little place is always packed. As other reviewers have noted, the pizza is HUGE (though very thin). The pasta I had was excellent and cooked to perfection. If you don't have a reservation, you are really taking a chance that you might get a table - reservations are definitely recommended.

We ditched dinner on our river cruise to try this little place. Even for mid week this place was ultra busy, and constantly turning over tables. The kitchen is in open view and creates an amazing atmosphere to this warm and friendly restaurant. We ordered two pizza's and three pasta dishes with a bread basket and shared two desserts between... More

We walked past this place one Sunday evening and there was a que out the door, so I figured it must be good. We came back a little later and got a table straight away. The food was excelling, excellent pizza and a very nice Salad Nicoise. Great wine and cold beer. Good value for money. The pizzas are enourmous,... More

This place is usually very busy, but the pizzas are great. 1/2 of a pizza is enough for most people (unless you are very hungry). The wait staff was very friendly, spoke good English, and even got ice for my dad who was needing an American fix.

And I do very much enjoy the local Bavarian cuisine but sometimes it is good to eat honest, well prepared and fairly priced Italian food in a great atmosphere with servers who smile. The L'Osteria ticks all of those boxes.

Visited with my boyfriend yesterday evening and was seriously disappointed. I got the gamberetti pizza which tasted bland and was very bare in ingredients. Our table was right next to another couple and everyone is just squashed in together to fit as many tables in as possible. Waiting staff were indifferent and unfriendly. We waited a long time to order... More

On a whim, we booked this restaurant tonight and glad we did as we don't think there would not have been a table free. The restaurant was totally packed, but as one table of patrons left, others came in! The staff were friendly and attentive and the pizzas were h-u-g-e. Two of us shared one pizza with different toppings. The... More

Think nearly everyone going here comments on the large size of the pizza. We do too. But size is not everything as the pizza's here are also thin and light with delicious toppings. In a party of five, we decided to order 5 different pizza's so we could share slices and sample a wide range of the menu. All were... More
