This little seafood restaurant is defenetly worth of try. In kind of show kitchen the cook (father) made his magical tastes. While other family ( that what we assumed) took care of service. I'm not sure if you can get service or menu in english but try this restaurant if you like seafood.

We hadn't read the excellent Trip Advisor ratings so consider ourselves lucky to have stumbled on this quality restaurant in a small side street of Passau. Service was friendly; quality of seafood excellent; vegetable accompaniments very fresh. It's just a walk up a set of stairs to a very homely setting. This is not a cheap Fish n Chips restaurant.... The owner/chef plates the food on a small counter in the dining room, so it's fun to sit in that room and watch. Don't expect a fast meal, but the floorshow was a worthy diversion. We had quail, lobster bisque (with crawfish), sole, and pike-perch (zander). All were excellent. Lots of butter. Most dishes are fresh daily specials. Without a... More

Chef personally inquires if food is to your liking - and wishes you a "good appetite - very popular with locals as well as those of us who beg for a place based on the TA reviews and restaurant is satisfied with their position and as #1. in my opinion, after eating here, that position is truly deserved we started... Two friends and I visited this small restaurant on the second floor of a store front. The front room is cosy with great views of the chefs as they put together some of the best fish around. We started with calamari which was superb. Then two of us had parrot fish with a fresh mushroom sauce, delicious, and the other... More

Excellent food cooked and served with attention to detail by the owners in a tastefully decorated and comfortable setting. The only problem was deciding what to order, as the menu listed so many appealing dishes. We will definitely be back!

This small, family run, second floor restaurant was a highlight of our trip. We love fresh food, well prepared and presented in a relaxed but not totally casual atmosphere and this has it all despite being quite small. Try to get seating in the room nearest the postage stamp kitchen and you can actually see the chef at work. A lot of larger... More

Bouillabaisse appetizer was good and main course, fish, was average. Unlikely to go again.

I enjoyed my meal (both entree and main meal) at Bouillabaisse. Recommended if you are passing by and like seafood. No English menu presented, which was fine, but staff couldn't quite translate. Nevertheless I took their recommendations for meals and they chose very well!

We were recommended by people in the business & went through without knowing the size which is small & fortunately we found table with most efficient waitress. She knows English & she was nice & tried very hard to help us with explaining as much as needed until we understood each dish before ordering. She even showed us the fish... More
