Visited this restaurant yesterday, it's nice inside, the staff were friendly and helpful. I ordered the schnitzel and French fries. My husband a 'snack' the meatloaf with potato salad and a fried egg. The schnitzel was delicious but there were two slabs of meat, each the size of a tea plate and a mountain of French fries, I was seriously... More

We stopped off for a lunchtime snack from our day trip to this charming old city, from our Viking River Cruise. We had a really nice authentic Bavarian meal, and the portions were huge, too big for us as we both had to leave some. Quality good though and prices very reasonable. Warm welcome and English no problem at all.

A nice place for lunch during your tour of Passau. Conveniently located near St. Stephens. The beer was cold and the food traditional German fare.

We had lunch here. They had a menu that was in english as well which helped in ordering. After waiting for someone to take our order, we asked a couple of questions concerning various items on the menu. Not much help from our waitress who kept disappearing for long periods of time. They were not busy when we were there... More

We had lunch here while in town off the Viking Njord. While the food, once we got it, was decent, the service was perhaps the worst we've ever experienced. I recognize service is not high on their priority list, but 1 1/2 hours wait just to receive your order is unacceptable. By the time it came we had to cancel... More

Choosing somewhere to eat in Passau is quite difficult due to the number of establishments there are which all look good. It was just as well we chose this place as the food was excellent and very reasonable money, too. The Cordon Bleu was really good and the helpings were filling. Drinks prices are excellent. Service was efficient but not... More

Great service, and a menu in English to boot, made this a memorable meal. The four of us each ordered a different meal and none of us were disappointed with our selections. Located in the old town adjacent to it's most memorable church it is very easy to find.

This is a not-to-be-missed restaurant. It is modern decor, but maintains a feeling of the old city of Passau. The food was just outstanding. They had a "from the forest and field" section of the menu which included wild game, mushrooms and local vegetables. The hot mushroom salad alone would make the visit worthwhile. Rae (deer) medallions were exceptional, and... More

I don't agree at all that this restaurant is bad. That's ridiculous. Had a wonderful meal there, really tasty offering lots of specialities. A great experience on my trip. The city itself also is a gem with a wonderful cathedral and a lovely old town. HIghly recommend it!

The place is good and nice. You only have the card in German and to choose is like to play rulette, because that one of us hasn't had a good luck, she ordered a soup and it was a little bit of coloured water and frankfurt sausage floating into. To drink we ordered water and beer, the beer was almost... More
