OMG onion soup!

Delicious onion soup! Holy crap, I'm not an onion soup guy, but this was awesome. This place is quiet and unassuming. Yeah, the service may not have been the best, but then again when we were there it was just the one lady doing everything and we weren't exactly in a hurry. Either way, it's a great... read more

I had the soup, which was perfect for the cold weather. He had sausages. The restaurant was very busy, but we were lucky to get a table. Service was friendly but they didn't speak much english. We ate quickly and went to the castle. No problems and we enjoyed the food.

We went for a coffee and as there was no table free (and no one to ask if there will be some free for us soon), we sat ot the bar. We were there for 10 minutes, 2 waitresses preparing drinks at the bar but non of them asked us if we wanted to order something. Not to mention that... More

My husband I had a great lunch here while traveling in Nuremberg. We each had soup (vegetable and potato) and then shared the spatzel with cheese. Everything was delicious and warm which was perfect for the chilly afternoon. We enjoyed a couple beers with our lunch and people watched from the large windows. I would definitely have lunch here again.

You have to go here to experience the German sausage. Large portions so make sure you are hungry. Look inside at the way the food is prepared.

We stumbled across this place after a cold day of wandering the streets of Nuremberg, initially settling in for a warming beer or two – we stayed a little longer and grabbed a bite to eat. We had a table upstairs which is modern in appearance with a walled window that looks (almost panoramically) over the paved square that is... More

In this place we'd found tasty German meals and excellent beer Kuchlbauer that became more than suitable in hot afternoon after climbing up and down Nurember Castle. The service was friendly and fast enough.
