We had 5 days gourmet business trip, reason to say that is we enjoyed almost every day good food and all above expectation when it comes to business trip. This is the first one/night we had in Nuremberg. Food are really good, the host recommend us a good wine (also not cheap) and we were in a pleasant night with... More

That's what my Italian colleagues said. The food is high quality authentic Italian. What's more the host - Romeo makes you feel at home with his great charm. This has to be the best Italian in Nuremberg.

All that you want from a memorable Italian. Great food, lovely wine (go Primitivo), attentive service and an ebullient owner. We had the tuna carpaccio, bruschetta, filet and tagliatelle porcini - all superb.

This is my first trip outside the U.S. and La Locanda was exactly as I pictured an authentic Italian restaurant would be. I had the gnocchi with mozarella and basil and it was ah-mazing!! Our server spoke Italian but was very patient and we had a wonderful meal at this cozy restaurant. I want to go back and try more... More

I like to come here every couple of weeks, first of all because I am like at home, in Italy, by doing so. The family business set up works at harmonic pace and true passion for guests can be felt consistently by looking at every table. The ambiance is authentic, neat, entertaining, and the way the menu of the day... More

We were a party of eleven, and we arrived over an hour late due to a tremendous thunderstorm. Staff were welcoming and helpful, the pastas were good, the wine list was sensible, the desserts were very Italian, and the price was very reasonable. It's in a rather our of the way location, not particularly attractive from the outside, and plain... More

if you are looking for a candle light dinner place you shoudn't come here: Saturday night this place is packed and it can be really noisy. But this was the only thing disturbing us The authentic Italian food - choose from the daily menu written on black boards (or from the standard menu) - is served within normal waiting time.... More

Had dinner there with an old friend I had not met for about 1 year. The restaurant is in a small street and not very visible from the outside. Service was prompt and very courteous, the waiter had the right attention to detail without being overbearing, with a nice charming Italian accent. The menu was authentic Italian with Antipasti, pasta,... More

We highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a nice Italian restaurant near Nuremberg. Staff is great, food is fantastic, and is some of the best Italian we have had in Germany. Price is decent, but perhaps a bit high for those on a budget. We spent around 85 Euro, for two people, but that includes wine, beer, starters... More

Will definitely be back to this charming restaurant on a nondescript street in Göstenhof. Italian staff were extremely friendly and accomodating, while the Antipasti, minestrone and fetticine with truffles were delicious. Smallish selection of beer, but my companions enjoyed the wine selection. Will heartily recommend. About 70€ for 3 people with 2 drinks each, appetizer and entree.
