A carnivores paradise. Tuck into huge servings of roast pork, pork shoulder, sausages and more, all cooked to perfection. Then wash it all down with some quality beer! The interior is wooden and rustic and service efficient.

This was our favorite restaurant in Nuremburg. My girlfriend ordered the mixed sausage plate, with 4 different kinds of delicious sausage. I had the asparagus with sausage special. The sausages were juicy and flavorful but the pile of butter and hollandaise drenched white asparagus was the star of the meal. They have the regular menu in English. The specials are... More

Huge portions of Fränkisch meal, especially the Karpfen is highly recommended. One of the few restaurants open on Sunday evening. Reservation recommended. Serious prices even in the real city centre.

Bought tickets to the Felsenkeller underground tour and had a little time before our 1 pm tour. Walked across the street from buying the tickets to this pub/restaurant. Had outdoor seating for our party of 6. We all enjoyed the 6 Nuremberg Bratwurst - some of us having saurkraut and some of us potato salad. Large portions and very tasty... More

Great local food. Huge portions. Although we had a reservation we had to share our table with other guests. We experienced quite a wait until our dinner was served. Very busy restaurant. Overall friendly service, great value. I recommend this restaurant to other travellers.

I usually avoid restaurants advertised for in the tourist maps. But we've stayed in Nuremberg for one night only on Saturday and the restaurants we wanted to try originally were full. We decided to try the Hütt'n because there was a table free outside. And it was a very good choice. Really tasty Franconian (I hope this is the right... More

Great location near the castle, excellent company at our shared table but heavy gut bomb fare. Fairly good but a bit much on the portions and a bit different from your stock Bavarian fare which many a visitiors might be looking for after all the tourist targeted menus.

Sat early evening - no reservation so they could only give us a table for an hour - plenty of time. Traditional Franconian food - Kloss and Soss is a must. Good selection of local beers and cheery no-fuss service

Went to this restaurant as it was close to our hotel. Server was friendly and helpful, recommending a traditional dish of sausages, hot potato salad and sauerkraut. Meal was excellent and came with the best dark bread and mustard. Split a portion between 2 of us and it was still adequate. Nice atmosphere with lots of interesting items around the... More
