Just passing by this restaurant and thought why not have a beer and schnitzel. Once inside it is a huge place. Many people but not overcrowded. Service is fast and friendly. We ordered Schnitzel and Schweinehaxe plus beers. Good food and yeah it is enough. Relaxed atmosphere and enough is happening to look at.

The food was pretty decent. Nothing spectacular but pretty good nonetheless. Beer was good as well. They had a so-so selection of Beer and Wines. Good place to relax a bit. The staff was helpful and friendly but SLOW. We were there and there were almost no customers but yet it took the staff what seemed like ages to bring... More

Our first meal in Germany was at this restaurant and though it proved not to be the absolute best we had during our visit, it was good, and the staff was very friendly.

Service crew was very courteous & friendly to offer a private area in a cosy room, baby chair, English menu & even patiently introduced the popular German food to us. Restaurant ambience also raises another bar & made the visit a very pleasant one. Whoever wants to try tradition German food, this is the place!

Our visitors wanted to sample typical German food and were quite pleased with the broad selection to choose from at Brawurst Roeslein. The restaurant is very conveniently located in the Altstadt, very close to where the annual Christmas market is held. Looks like they must have a Saturday market there as well as vendors were closing up shop when we... More

Was looking for good German food, This place recommended from fellow travellers. But of course, being located in a tourist area, the locals had different opinions. Pork dish was very salty++. Tolerated the meal, was cooked well and very tasty, just the salt taste kept me from really enjoying. it. Staff friendly, but service slow. Maybe I am accustomed to... More

It is not very easy to find, but once you do you can experience the true German sausages and beers. A great variety of beers and food and very tasty.

We were on a Viking Cruise and one of the Ports was Nuremberg, Germany. After hours of a very educational and informative tour of Nuremberg, we had lunch in Nuremberg Old Town at Bratwurst Roeslein. After a couple of cold German beers we had bratwurst, mash potatoes and beans....just absolutely great! we topped it off with some hot cider and... More

It is the typical german "Brauerei". They produce their own "nuremburgs", which they also sell in cans, together with other local specialities. The food was very nice and the stuff very helpful.
