My husband Peter and I went on a return to Nuremberg for a week in December 2014 and came across the restaurant by accident. It was exceptionally busy and a table was found for us. Superb service and the food was exceptional. We have earmarked the restaurant if we have any further visits to Nuremberg.

Recommended to us by the front desk staff at the hotel, we lunched here during our recent trip to the Christkindl Markt and were very pleased with our choice. The space was quite compact. The few tables that they have are very close, and several of them had already been "reserviert." They had one four-top right inside the door, and... More

Traditional german restaurant just off the main drag between the station and the city centre. Not all that big inside, but you'll get the full range of bavarian decor, a roomful of stock characters from central casting (and a few bewildered chinese tourists) plus the staff all kitted out in the local costume. English menus are available, but the options... More

Four of us just dined here. Eight draught beers, waters, one schnapps, and four full entrees totaled €88. Absolutely delicious pork shoulder, sauerbraten (2), and steak. Food was hot, not over/under-spiced, and delicious. Definitely would recommend this restaurant.

Bohm's is about as Bavarian as one can expect with old everything. Even most of the patrons at lunch time were about as old as the building, I think. Food is hearty and fun. We were seating at a shared table with a pleasant couple. If you want good wurst and a good price this place is terrific.

Lovely place first of all. The place was full of elderly German's which indicated to me that it must be good and we were not disappointed. I asked for the waiter to recommend nearly everything and it was delicious. The service was among the best I have had at a restaurant and the atmosphere was warm and friendly.

Ate tonight with a colleague from work. I ordered Wienerschnitzel and my colleague a mix grill (various meats) plate. When the food finally arrived my Wienerschnitzel was slightly warm at best. Additionally my colleague's chicken on the mixed grill dish was still completely raw on the inside. We informed the waiter who offered us a drink on the house as... More

A real find. Traditional German food, Traditional German interior, and Traditional good service from people in Traditional Bavarian costume. A ceramic stove to keep us warm, wood panelling and 18th century portraits on the wall. Beer and sausage for about 10euro. Just what I was looking for! Big thank you to the lady who served us, who was cheerful, efficient... More

If you're going to visit this restaurant, do go early evening as the venue gets very busy with locals which is a good recommendation in itself. A small, but authentic German restaurant, although the owner didn't come across as over friendly, this could have been because of the language barrier, but the quality of the food and atmosphere more than... first this review isn't about the food since we never had the opportunity to eat here. After reading reviews on TripAdvisor I thought this would be a good choice during our stay. I sent emails to arrange a reservation but never heard back...so on our first night in Nuremberg for Christkindlmarkt decided to go by in person...the restaurant wasn't very... More
