Based on earlier TA reviews we checked this place out with our local friend who hadn't been before and we were glad we did. The food was excellent and the perfect introduction to the local cuisine. With a menu in English and helpful English speaking staff this could so easily have been a place dominated by tourists. Instead, most of... More

Ended up at this restaurant by "accident," as the restaurant we had originally booked for our group of four bumped us. This place in the hard of Old City was wonderful - authentic German food and atmosphere with kind and attentive staff - even an English menu! Not the average tourist trap - the real deal.

Looked after very well by our waiter. Followed his advice as to beer, main course, wine and puddings. Superb pork, fish, apple fritters riesling and local beer. 3 satisfied customers 100 euros. Will be going there again.

If you want traditional Franconian fayre, this restaurant will take a lot of beating. Established over 500 years ago in a timbered building in the city centre. Meat, sausages, Coarse fish - (for example Carp) cooked and served in the traditional way with traditional vegatables. Many locals eat here which is also a good sign, The table was ours for... More

Thoroughly enjoyed the sauerbraten (look for it!) with cranberries and red cabbage. Beer and vibe were the perfect complements. The venison spaetlze dish was a hit with our table, too.

My husband Peter and I went on a return to Nuremberg for a week in December 2014 and came across the restaurant by accident. It was exceptionally busy and a table was found for us. Superb service and the food was exceptional. We have earmarked the restaurant if we have any further visits to Nuremberg.

Recommended to us by the front desk staff at the hotel, we lunched here during our recent trip to the Christkindl Markt and were very pleased with our choice. The space was quite compact. The few tables that they have are very close, and several of them had already been "reserviert." They had one four-top right inside the door, and... More

Traditional german restaurant just off the main drag between the station and the city centre. Not all that big inside, but you'll get the full range of bavarian decor, a roomful of stock characters from central casting (and a few bewildered chinese tourists) plus the staff all kitted out in the local costume. English menus are available, but the options... More

Four of us just dined here. Eight draught beers, waters, one schnapps, and four full entrees totaled €88. Absolutely delicious pork shoulder, sauerbraten (2), and steak. Food was hot, not over/under-spiced, and delicious. Definitely would recommend this restaurant.

Bohm's is about as Bavarian as one can expect with old everything. Even most of the patrons at lunch time were about as old as the building, I think. Food is hearty and fun. We were seating at a shared table with a pleasant couple. If you want good wurst and a good price this place is terrific.
