Just around our hotel, this restaurant has a very good name with a menu of many excellent choices. Not too expensive but well-worth. Reservation recommended.

This restaurant on Theatergasse is in Altstadt and close to Bahnhof. The ambiance is very relaxing, the service is fast and the prices are reasonable; and above all the food (I had a Schaufele) was wonderful

Delicious meat and sauces, welcoming waiters, great typical German atmosphere. Booking is smart as they are pretty full all day. They serve warm food non stop. For me a highlight in Nürnberg! We were there in December while visiting Nürnberg's famous Christmas market.

Visited Nuremberg for 1 night, and stumbled upon this restaurant. We were looking for the real German/Bavarian experience, with fantastic food and drink, great service, and found it here. I generally come to Nuremberg every year to attend an exhibition and have eaten here on several occasions . My colleagues took my recommendation to have the flaming stew in a loaf starter and were not disappointed. The staff always seem to find somewhere to fit you in and it gets very cosy !We will probably be back next year!
