Lenz restaurant is in a beautiful, mostly residential area. We may have been the only tourists there. Lenz offered both indoor and outdoor dining. It was very hot when we visited and inside was not air conditioned. We ate outside, perfect choice. The menu at Lenz is small but diverse Our server was efficient and spoke some English which made... Your basic modern european tavern with a simple but wholesome menu. There are not a whole lot of options in the immediate neighborhood so going to Lenz is a fine option if you want to stay in the neighborhood. I would not cross town to go here however, not that anything is wrong.

My son and I visited this restaurant as it was near to our hotel and was recommended by other visitors to Munich on trip advisor. I have no complaints on the food but the service was very poor, the waiter barely communicated with us, the service was slow and we asked for the bill and he totally forgot about us... More

We came here twice for dinner while we were in Munich. The food was excellent, as was the beer. Got to watch my U.S. get shut out by Germany in the World Cup on one of their TVs :( But the vibe was great. As celebratory as everyone was, no one heckled or trolled us for being American! They had... More

We ended up at Lenz because we were looking for a place to watch a world cup game near our hotel. it is a typical mid priced restaurant with german food. The beer and wine were good but the food was unremarkable.

While staying in Munich, we found Lenz for an early dinner and were very happy! We were seated quickly, since we were early they weren't busy. Had a great meal and a great apple strudel, while we watched some World Cup! Great restaurant in a residential area, has inside and outside seating, and a great atmosphere. Great place!

Unique food variety with exceptionally good flavor and quality. (Even the simple things are done well: Ex. the cole slaw was amazing). The staff was friendly with a good sense of humor. It was nice and quiet sitting outside. (No problem accommodating a group of 8). And as others have written: it is worthwhile to save room for a apple... More

This place has the feel of a nice neighborhood bistro with friendly staff and consistently good food. One our 3 visits, we tried many different items and it seemed to get better with each visit. They have rotating features that are very good, but their regular menu items are excellent. If you get burned out on traditional German fare, give... More

The Lenz was highly recommended on TA and exceeded our expectations.Upon arrival in Munich, after an overnight flight, we checked in to our hotel and walked the one block to the Lenz. We split a Lenz Club sandwich and I enjoyed a cold beer. This was the first of many visits to the restaurant with friends who arrived later in... More
