Good Asian food

Pleasant Asian restaurant in Munich. Overall I am cautious of ethnic restaurants in Europe. I find that the food has been altered quite a bit to suit the local tastes. Not sure what to expect from a Chinese restaurant in Germany. The restaurant was packed, there were also a lot of Asian/Chinese customers which is always a good indication when selecting a Chinese restaurant. The restaurant itself is spacious, well lit and offers a good ambience. I was pleased to have our reserved table still available although we were 20mins... More

It makes me sad that restaurants of this type exist in today's society. This review is the most scathing that I have ever written but in the interests of my fellow Trip Advisor followers the truth must be told. In short, both my wife and I suffered acute food poisoning and were very close to being admitted to hospital. We... More

This was a great find after a long train ride from Venice..It was directly across from our hotel. They have all sorts of Asian cuisine. Not only Chinese but Thai and Vietnamese as well. We had the crispy spring rolls and Pho tai. We were very satisfied and full when we left!

Not much in the area to choose from and we did not feel like a hike from the Holiday Inn. Service was pretty good and fairly quick. One issue was the delivery of appetizers after the main course. Flavor was good on the stir fry. Spring rolls were average. Chicken corn soup was excellent. Price was higher than you would... More

I was staying at the Hilton across the street and judging by how many Asian markets were across the street, I figured the restaurant couldn't be that bad. I ate there 2 nights in a row and it was pretty good. They (who appear to either own or run the place) spoke Cantonese (language spoken in Hong Kong) so that... More

Hello to all food lovers, My husband and I have recently eaten at KAM YI and it was an absolute pleasure. We are both huge fans of the Asian cuisine. For years we have been desperately seeking for really good Asian food in Munich ... but finally we have found KAM YI!

We were in a hurry to grab a bite before a meeting in the hotel across the street. We saw couples and families so we entered. The personnel was rather helpful and the service was slow. We chose a soup (good) and noodles ( tasteless). The environment was not very inviting and later we found out thet the inner part of... More
