This place has the best Weiswurst or veal sausage which is served til noon. Liver dumpling soup and crispy pork is great too.

Our German friends who were visiting with us took us here as they said it has the best weisswurst in town and it was very tasty. Also good pretzels and we had the potato salad.

This was a very large place right near the opera house -- a more quiet restaurant area as well as a larger beer hall space. The different rooms were interesting, so it was worthwhile to walk around to see. They have an English language menu, but it appeared to be a limited version of the German one, so it may... More

This place was my first contact with the german delikatessens and after a week in Munich I can say it was a very good starter to be introduced to bavarian specialties. Big place, good and quick service. Very central and nice terrace if the weather is warm. A recommendation in Munich.

Great location especially if you are seeing a theatre show. Huge restaurant with efficient serving staff. The pretzels are great but make sure they give you the sweet mustard to dip them in. Great Bavarian beers too. Very traditional German fare. The roast pork and crispy duck were very good. Mushroom soup was unusual with sliced mushrooms - worth trying.... More

I visited HB haus, Paulanerhaus, Augustiner, Spaten, all are great. But this is my favourite. Weisbier is fantastic, just try it!

a super place , better reserved , packed out, live music of the german kind, gives guests the opportunity to make fools of themselves by trying the various dancing gymnastics ..

Restaurant was recommended by a frequent traveler to Munich who was staying in our hotel. Glad we followed the advice. Place was crowded but we snagged a table as someone was leaving. We ordered beer or course and a great lunch. I had the suckling pig (small portion) which was just perfect and allowed us to continue our touring without... More

Excellent place for lunch with beer. Best mixed sausages place in Munich I've had. Fantastic beer. Great white sausages (although they are great in most places in Munich). Veal liver -- to die for. Duck is also very good, as is schnitzel. Pikeperch, though, was somewhat unimaginative. Overall, an excellent place to drink beer in Munich and all that goes... More
